Although they still do not match the inclusion of a sub-woofer, these speakers provide extremely high quality sound unlike anything I have experienced before. I truly recommend this product.

I can't believe how great these are. I know they're expensive, but they are worth every penny. When I first got them, I had a couple of people try and locate the subwoofer while I played music. These little (comparatively, given their sound) speakers are amazing. I can't say it enough. I'm a long time Bose customer, and these may be my favorite all around product I've ever owned of theirs.

The bose speakers sound amazing, dont listen to anyone who knocks Bose, the reason they knock them is probably A they cant afford them and wish they had them, and B they have not researched how sound works and what Bose does to produce a sold product. Hands down Bose knows what they are doing and if you can't afford quality, then write a review somewhere else. Anyone who purchases Bose will appreciate 100% what I just wrote. You get what you pay for!!

I have owned lots of different pc speakers cost ranging from $50.00 all the way up to $150.00. Could not find anything that would even come close to these by far the best 2.0 speakers out there far more superior then any 2.1 speakers I have had in the past. Worth every penny best money I have ever spent cant go wrong with these Beautiful Bose Companion 20's. Sound AMAZING!!! with all types of music.

Bose is know for small size but great sound, this is so true hard to believe the base. Goes perfect with the cpu.

These bose speakers will put out tons of sound at high quality

I listen to many different music genres and these speakers have the best mid and high range. The bass is a little weak but that depends on how big the room is. It's worth every penny.

If you don't expect too much you wont be disappointed. These are good looking speakers that sound great for what they are described for. They are prefect for a bedroom or a small room to listen to music with. Don't expect them to replace a whole sound system and you can't go wrong.

I bought the Bose Companion 20 to replace my Companion 5 speakers, I was hoping to not have to deal with the subwoofer anymore. Got home and hooked them up to my i Mac (very easy to do btw) and then tried them out. Sound quality is decent but they just don't have the low end bass that comes with the Companion 5 subwoofer. Did a side by side comparison and needless to say my old Companion 5 won out. I am returning the Companion 20 and sticking with the Companion 5.. My advice is if you're going to spend to $249 for the C20 you may as well splurge the extra $150 and go with the C5. Well worth it.

Fantastic speakers! I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good spatial audio with high clarity and good bass.

I wasn't really in the market for buying a pair of Desktop speakers but when I played the demo for these speakers I was blown away. They were much more robust than my Bose Soundlink (Which is a superior portable speaker). I could hear ranges of songs that other speakers could not successfully replicate, but Bose products have very little trouble surrounding listeners in a melodic wonderland. The sound is crisp, precise, strong, and clear. The richness of the these speakers is undeniable. I am happy that I purchased these speakers because it adds another level of auditory interaction between me and my internet listening and viewing experiences. I am happy with my purchase of this item.

I previously owned a pair of logitech Z313 which go for about $30 and they sounded great. After a while my music just wasn't sounding very full and as crisp as I wanted so I decided to give the Bose companion 20's a try. My music and movies ascended to the next level with Bose. The second I tested them out I was shocked at how good my music sounded now. I'm quite satisfied with these speakers although they come at a hefty price if you have the money and enjoy great sounding music, movies, or games I'd recommend these. Many reviews say these speakers lack bass and yes there are other speakers with better bass because most likely they're equipped with a sub woofer but the Bose companion 20's still pack a punch.

I initially bought the JBL Pebbles speakers and returned them to buy the Bose Companion 20s. I was originally thinking I could get reasonable sound from a less expensive set of computer speakers. I returned the Pebbles today and bought the Bose. Yes they are quite a bit more expensive but I love to listen to music through my computer in my family room. These speakers are crisp and clear and just the right balance of highs and lows. Great speakers!

These are the best speakers, without a subwoofer, I have ever purchased. Still think they're too high priced. Would be better at 200.00.

These speakers are good, clear sound. But they don't really have any depth to them. It's a clean, but flat sound. There are better speakers out there for less, or much better ones for the same cost. I really only think the Bose are worth it if you have the subwoofer.

Before i decide to buy speakers i red many review and decide to go with it.... They sound just amazing and can't understand how someone can give one star or two its just funny..... Any way, listen to music for 3 hours on my computer just bring new dimension, previously i had Harmad Kardon sticks, after 10 years they just failed to deliver good sounds any more, so this is huge upgrade so happy to have them... Thank you Bose...
