Not bad over all
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall very satisfied with Bose sound Glass, good sound quality overall; the only negative thing is they should have come with an extral clear lens set that you could easily swap out, so you could use them inside. That would have made them a lot more useful, in the office, listening to music, or attending a meeting without bothering anyone else in the office.

Glad to hear that you have been enjoying your Frames. Did you know you can get clear lenses installed and your warranty will still be honoured? In the USA, our recommended clear lens installer are Lensabl.

Nice sunglasses, good sound, lots of possibilities
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everybody in the gadget world loves multipurpose products and Bose frames don't disappoint. From first look, they look like a nice pair of sunglasses (albeit with somewhat large sides). The glossy finish and nice lines of the Tenor style, allows an easier fit and more stylish look for those with larger heads. Connecting with bluetooth to the Bose music app was easy to do. I had some issues because I was using the Bose connect app which didn't connect. Music from the glasses is Bose quality though sans bass; mids and highs are vibrant and clear and barely audible to nearby people even at 75% volume. I think it's expected to not have effective bass reproduction with open air microspeakers so wasn't expecting much, but Bose is known for having bass in small space so I'd be lying if I didn't expect some miracle from them. I like the addition of a touch pad on the right side for volume and Google Assistant (or Siri, Alexa) which adds to the hidden functionality. The single button on the lower right side doesn't draw attention either yet works for many things in different modes, answering, ending, declining calls; power on, off; play/pause, next/previous track. I like the thoughtful addition of battery saving features; it powers off 2 seconds after you place it on a surface upside down or after 10 minutes if they're right side up. The battery status on power up says 100% while in the app, it shows 90% so there's some discrepancy there. So all in all, a great product that can only get better (work on that bass). I think it would be great if the lenses could employ active shuttering to be used with 3D TVs for the home theater connectivity. Also a version with AR would be quite impressive and now more feasible with rolling out of 5G networks making bandwidth a nonissue.
