Bose doesn’t stand behind their products. Purchased in September and always had issues with Spotify randomly dropping. Have to reboot to fix. Seems like a software update would fix but no resolution months later. Tried to open a ticket with them. Bose support says it’s out of warranty already in December and would cost me $99 for repair. Very disappointed.

If you are reading this, you know Bose is the standard. Their speakers are unmatched and if you are trying something else you always come back to them. They are just plain superior. They are small, but the sound they produce is like system of speakers. I have tried a variety of wireless speakers, from a variety of companies. All are reputable companies and to be honest they all sounded pretty decent. Of course, you have to remember that you get what you pay for. If you buy a $20-50 speaker, you get a something that is not going to sound any better than your iPhone. Maybe worse in fact. The Bose Home Speaker 300 is by far the best wireless Bluetooth speaker I have ever owned. I personally have it in my man cave, and I opted for it vice an entire system. But this thing is totally unique in many ways. First off, you can use it with Amazon Alexa or your Google Assistant. So you tell the speaker what you want, and it does it. Whether you want to play your favorite music playlist from Amazon, or if you want to know the weather outside. It is similar to a Echo device, but again we are talking about a Bose product. Plus, it has multiple microphones so it hears you better. There is an app for your phone, where you can adjust everything. You can tailor the sound to your favorite type of music to enhance your experience. Your playing options are vast. I mentioned you can play music via Amazon, but you can also go on Spotify or Apple Music if you so choose through your phone. Personally, I mainly use the auxiliary option and play my music from my iPhone through the speaker. Of course, that way is via Bluetooth and there is no crackle or breaks in the sound at all. Every impressive. So the most important thing is of course the sound right? FLAWLESS. I am not a professional audiophile that can hear the difference at a high level. But I can definitely tell the difference in quality speakers. The bass is deep, and the highs are crisp. It is like hearing your music for the first time again. And the speaker fills the room with sound, in all directions. And I am saying a large room. And there is no distortion at high volumes. So in summary, this is the one you want. It will work in a variety of connected home systems (google, Apple, Amazon, Etc) so it works for almost anyone. But as a stand alone unit without the connections to those companies, this works wonderfully as a stand alone unit. I cannot say enough good things (and no, I do not work for Bose). I recommend it for anyone, and the price a great value for what you are getting as a product. Pull the trigger, you will thank me.

If you're looking for the best possible bang for your buck then look no further! This Bose Home Speaker 300 is an amazing product and I honestly don't know if I can truly express it, it's just one of those products you need to buy and try for yourself to understand. As a stay at home mom I regularly travel all throughout the house going upstairs and downstairs and don't always have my phone. With this speaker I can leave my phone in one centralized location and be able to hear my music wherever I am. With Alexa and Google Voice Assistant built right in, both I and my boyfriend can easily use this without having to touch our phone if we're busy. It truly delivers the surround sound feel in a small speaker! If you're not tech savvy there's no need to worry as this is an easy product to use without a lot of tech knowledge. The bass is phenomenal and really makes you feel like you're in a studio or a theater if you're watching a movie or show! This is a very sound investment and will give a return 5 fold with how great this product is! Please just purchase it for yourself and carry it along with you to parties and family get togethers! Bose truly has figured out the game and has changed the way consumers get to enjoy their music! Hands down will reccomend and have already recommended!

Bot worth the aggregation, removed and not used since purchase

The Bose Home Speaker 300 is an excellent smart home speaker with the added functionality of a smart voice assistant. Many speakers and smart devices force you to choose between Google or Alexa/Amazon, but this Bose Home Speaker 300 gives you the flexibility of supporting both. Setup to start went very smoothly, I created a Bose ID, connected it to Alexa/Amazon, connected it to my home Wi-Fi and after initial pre-production firmware update issues, I was all set and able to access my entire library of music along with a virtually endless Amazon Prime Music catalog. After about a week of use it was obvious this was an excellent, stylish, and great sounding smart speaker the likes of which you expect from Bose. There are a few oversights and annoyances with the app, how to manage devices, and how to connect the smart speaker capabilities, each of which requires a manual button press that you have to google. Want to change WiFi networks later? Hold two buttons. Want to add a smart assistant later? Hold two buttons. Google is a must here. It would be nice if this functionality were supported via app. One of the coolest innovations I have seen is the cable management loop Bose gives you as you can loop the extra cord easily so it is out of sight and easily managed. Very happy with the Bose Home Speaker 300, it really rocks and once you have it set up its a great smart speaker to add to your home's collection. I've replaced the Echo Show in my kitchen and while I'll lose the visual aspect of the Show, the improved audio of the Bose Home Speaker 300 and ability to fill the room with sound is worth it.

Received the Bose 300 Home Speaker to review. I was super excited to review this product because I love Bose products in any application. But this one was disappointing. The initial setup seemed so simple. Plug the device in and download an app to set up all the functions. Unfortunately none of that worked. The "instruction manual" doesn't provide anything and the help through the Bose Music app doesn't work. So after a few days Bose sent an app update adding support for this product after acknowledgement of the issues, which is great, but my product still doesn't work as intended after about a week. Which means the Google and Alexa integration are unusable. So now for some positives! It's a Bose product, so it's constructed very well and when I connect through Bluetooth the sound and all that are amazing. It gets obscenely loud, has great bass, range, etc so I can appreciate it for that aspect. Overall if the App and product worked as intended it'd be a 5 star no doubt, but my review is based off what I got to experience vs the expected

So I do have to say that I am fan of BOSE products and have been for awhile. This particular product is one of my favorites based on its specific features and compatibilities that work well with Apple, Google and Alexa. These are all applications I use daily. When I first use a new Bose product I always first confirm that my Bose application is updated and ready to roll in all settings features. If you are familiar with these setting then the ease of use can be pretty easy. For first time users I would recommend to take your time and complete the process at home or where ever you plan on using your speaker often. That part is pretty seamless if you are up on exactly what purposes you want your speaker to serve for you. If not the help features guide you easily and redirect you when necessary. As far as the music sound quality I feel rates no comparison, kicks that bottom base and links easily with other bluetooth connections. I am rarely disappointed with the sound quality of Bose products, I think the only slight obstruction experienced may include the area and sound volume increase past a certain level, but other than that the range and depth hits close to perfect. I also appreciate the multiple connections of hookups between my laptop, iPad and phone. The look of the speaker(triple black) is sleek and blends well in all home room decor.

Not the bass kicking speaker it claimed to be..disappointed.

This is a Bose product so my expectations are always high with this brand. Sound is better than I expected from such a small unit. Both Alexa and Google Assistant works well with this but with me being an iPhone user I do wish that Siri was an offering directly also. Airplay works flawlessly and connecting my SiriusXM was a nice perk. I would have been nice if it was wireless but it’s not a deal breaker. Overall it’s a great option

Do not buy this speaker. It will not stay connected to the internet. Will not run Alexa and the folks trying to support it, while having great patience do not know enough about it to help you. Buy the Marshall product that I had to if you want an Alexa enabled speaker.

Bose has a great reputation for their quality sound and the Bose Home Speaker 300 is no exception. The speaker is sleek and sturdy with 360 degree speakers around the unit. Music is clear, bass sounds good, and volume can get loud, which is great for my teenager and his friends. There are no detailed instructions included with the speaker. Set-up entails downloading the Bose Music app which walks you through the process. There are buttons on top of the speaker that you can use to set up your own playlists, which is a great option. I listen to music when working around the house and I was able to shout a command from across the room and Alexa was able to pick it up with no issue. The speaker 300 is compatible with Google Assist or Alexa but you do need to pick one or the other. We chose Alexa which has been great so far. For its relatively small size, it packs a lot of punch which top-notch sound. If you are looking for another quality product from Bose and are willing to pay more than other similar speakers, this is for you.

Overall I think the speaker is great ! Set up was a little difficult at first. I tried to set it up on my Moto X4 wunning android pie but could not get it to work at all . So I tried it on my android tablet running android 7.0 . Downloaded the app and had zero problems. Once set up on my tablet it automatically worked on my phone . To me the set up for using my Amazon Prime account and Alexa was flawless and very easy . Once everything is set up how you like it , it is a very nice speaker. I feel it fits with most decor. The size is just rightfor any space. The sound is amazing and can get very loud. I could hear it through out my house . I love that because I like to listen to music while I do lots of different things like cleaning and etc. My whole family likes using it . My 18 year old keeps trying to talk me out of it , he loves it so much . I am definetly in awe of this speaker that is not so big but puts out big sound . I would definetly recommend this speaker to anyone !

But it is an open package it didn’t have no paperwork tell him how to use it are used it once and then it stopped working I didn’t buy insurance so I learn my lesson on that one

I am absolutely loving the sound that this tiny speaker produces. Music is crucial to my work so I have to have a speaker that is reliable and produces the best possible sound. Over the years I've owned and invested in countless speakers - cheap and expensive and this is by far the best one yet...especially for it's size. It gets so loud and the sound quality is impeccable. On the output side I give it five stars. I do wish it was a little more user friendly though, as it did not come with instructions nor would it connect to the accompanying app. It does connect to bluetooth perfectly every time so I guess the app isn't really needed. My only other wish is that it had a rechargeable battery so I wouldn't have to keep it plugged into an outlet. I would prefer being able to move it around and take it on the go. All in all, this is an excellent speaker and a great addition to my home studio.

I received this product for free to test and provide an honest review. First impression was a very sleak nice looking speaker. It was very easy to connect to my Samsung smart TV, only took a few minutes. The sound quality of the speaker is very good and super clear. I can clearly hear the sound downstairs from the speaker which is located upstairs. I like how small it is, makes it easy to place in smaller locations that a typical soundbar would not fit. The speaker is very easy to use and pretty self explanatory. I highly recommend this speaker for superior surround sound. Bose is a great brand with high quality that lasts for many years. I have nothing negative to say regarding this home speaker. Alexa works great on the speaker as well. Great sound from such a small speaker!

It says it’s Alexa enabled but does not function like an Amazon Echo....worthless for my needs...nice try Bose, I’ll be returning this ASAP

Can’t use it won’t work on other stations and now I heart won’t work so it just sits here doing nothing

I’ve been using this speaker for a few weeks, and I love the overall sound. It has excellent balance between treble and bass which can tweaked to your personal preference. I listen to a variety of genres of music and love that it handles all of them well. It easily connected with Alexa, so I’ve been able to access my library of audiobooks as well. The presets are very handy. I must mention that it was so easy to take this out of the box and connect to my phone. My one complaint is that it does not have an internal rechargeable battery. If it did, believe it would have made this the perfect little package.
