This is an incredible product! I bought it since I needed a device for teleworking. Great for TEAMS calls and significantly reducing the background noise. The active noise cancelling is amazing! I love Bose products. They have never failed me.

    A bit disappointing for gaming

I'm an avid Bose user, and I found this to be a bit disappointing for a BOSE product. I found the only viable usage for gaming was the included Mic, but the unit is questionable at best when it's had a little age under it. I had to return one unit thinking it was just a flaw, but the second unit also has run into the same issue. For gaming, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

My dog scared the living heck out of me wearing these while I was in the trenches of the Cold War. That’s how good the Bose noise canceling is. I wish they were wireless, but I also wish I got a pony Christmas.

I was looking to consolidate headsets by getting one that I can use for work and constant Zoom calls to monitor my Blue Yeti mic, and also use for gaming on my Xbox series x after work. This works perfectly for that function!

I bought this back in April and thank god I bought the warranty from Best Buy. The mic was very good and clear but sound is “ok”. For Xbox, these have you plug it into the controller. However, these now have a static issue and volume cuts in/out. Bose over priced these unless you want to use these for Xbox and PC. I suggest looking for another brand since Headsets dont seem to last anymore.

I bought this as a gift for my fiancé and he told me that the mic was really clear but the overall sound quality was not as expected for this name brand and such an expensive one at that. I thankfully bought two back up headsets and he ended up choosing a much “cheaper” brand and loves them. He also found it a pain to have to charge this headset and he felt that the ears were small.

Anyone who knows a little about headphones and sound products typically knows the brand name associated with this product. With that said, creating a product for a specific market - gamers in this case - can be pretty difficult to crack at times as many of us (gamers) are pretty particular with the products we use when gaming. From casual to hardcore gamers, this product pushes the bar further among others in this area, and hopefully will motivate others to provide a superior product in the future. With that said, this gaming headset has not disappointed me at all since I've been using it on multiple genres of PC games. Upon first use of this product, you will find that these product is very easy and straightforward to setup. They are also noticeably very comfortable around my (large) head and (smaller) ears, and they are the lightest headphones I've ever used for a gaming headset. The sound is also very amazing as I've tested this game out on first person shooters, third person RPG's, MMOs, and just normal computer use - browsing online and music. If wanted, you can download the Bose App to make connecting to your PC a little bit easier, but if you can just as easily "plug and play." One of the cool things about this particular headset is that it works with both my console and PC, which is something that many gamer headsets offer at a premium price nowadays. I do wish that will become more standard in the future. Additionally, I really do like how the microphone can be disconnected from the headset when you don't want to use a mic, and I do like the volume control base that it connects to.... However, I don't like how the microphone is wired to the base, and not "wire free." It's not a "deal breaker" for me by any means, but I can see where some gamers may hesitate to use this product because of that. I do hope in the next iteration of this product, that is taken into strong consideration as everything else about this headset makes me want to use it for every game I would like to play in the future. Overall, this headset is pretty, pretty awesome. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the market for a premium gaming headset that you can use on multiple platforms. Awesome job, Bose! Looking forward to what comes next!

I got these headphones for Gaming and working from home, but mainly gaming . I was going to initially just get the QC 35 II but opted to spend the extra $30 for the gaming mic. The headphones themselves are great, just what you would expect a pair of Bose Headphones to sound like an feel. I have an older QC 25. The reason I am giving this a 2 star rating is the gaming mic. The connection to the headphones is not snug enough and anytime I move my head or adjust the mic I lose sound in my Right ear. Just looking left and right between my monitors this happens. This might not seem like a big deal , but I am deaf in my left ear. Also why a wired connection for the mic? Don't give me the latency excuse, other companies have figured this out, Logitech, Razer are a few that come to mind. For $330 I would expect more. Going to to return these for just the regular QC35 II or the Logitech Pro x "Wireless"

This upgrade is just great. The product construction, materials and the sound are awesome. Using the mic is a pleasure, very clear conversations and almost no noise even plugged without the noise cancellation feature.

Really wanted to love these, given I always support the Bose brand. I previously had the Arctis SteelSeries 9x and they were FAR superior. I only tried another brand (this one) because the charging port broke and I did not get insurance. I tried the bose gaming headset for a day - wired connection on xbox series x - and was so disappointed. The volume control did not work, whatsoever. Went through troubleshooting via the app as well as via customer service to no avail. The sound was like a whisper. There is no balancer for game chat audio compared to gameplay audio like the steel series 9x (which is substantially cheaper). All in all if you are looking for a really reliable headset, go with Arctis SteelSeries 9x. You will not be disappointed like I was with this, incredulously expensive, headset.
