Now you can play everything with the Bose QuietComfort 35 II Gaming Headset. With best-in-class noise cancelling technology, outstanding mic quality, and a comfortable fit for marathon gaming sessions, Bose has created the ultimate gaming headset. And if you need to head out, simply remove the gaming module and enjoy all the lifestyle features of the headphones — such as an integrated voice assistant and Bluetooth connectivity. The removable gaming module adds a boom mic, mic mute, and optional PC desktop controller which lets you easily adjust volume and access mic monitoring to ensure your teammates can hear you loud and clear. In lifestyle mode, the built-in noise-rejecting dual-microphone system provides clear calls, even in noisy environments. The Bose QC35 II Gaming Headset clears away noisy distractions so you can focus on your games, your music, or your work. Proprietary technology continuously monitors and measures outside noise and then cancels it by creating an opposite signal. When using the headset in lifestyle mode you can adjust between two levels of active noise cancellation using the Action button or the Bose Connect app. The headphones also features our Volume-Optimized Active EQ to provide balanced audio performance at any volume, up to 40 hours of battery life in wired gaming mode, and a durable, comfortable fit.
A: I actually gifted these to my HusBae which I also gifted him the Astro-50. He has sat me down to demontrate me both headsets & I must say the sound on this set is so unreal & unlike any other! He also has not even looked back at his Astro’s since! He definitely chooses the Bose & they are extremely so lightweight & the comfort is like no other @ he has a bigger noggen. So yea I recommend & I definitely don’t think you will be disappointed. His play buddy also has a pair. He does apologize in advance that he may not hear me call him, it blocks out any and all sounds. But I’ve learned to forgive him & let him enjoy his play time. It’a a different world with Bose.
Q: Are these true wireless? It looks like the mic still has to be connected to the PC or controller
A: They are wireless in Lifestyle mode. When the boom mic is attached they need to be connected via th aux cable to a device.
Q: Can the boom mic be used with a cell phone?
A: So long as the cell phone has a 3.5mm audio jack that can support a microphone. Most newer phones don't have the 3.5mm jack and require a dongle attachment.
Q: Does this work on the Nintendo switch?
A: It should work on the Nintendo switch. Give me a few days to update this. I'm going to try it on my son's Switch.
A: Yes it does, the noise canceling is quite good
Q: Does this work with PlayStations ?
A: It does work with Play Stations. However be aware that when the mic is plugged into the headset that the volume buttons on the headset are disabled. This isn't a problem using a PC, since they include a desktop control for the volume, but with Play Stations and Xbox you must use the volume control that's within the OS, and I don't know about the Play Station but getting to those controls on an Xbox are very clumsy.
A: The microphone attachment forces the headphones to connect with aux and the cord is attached. But when the microphone isn’t unplugged the headphones have the same features as the normal QC2’s which includes Bluetooth and an onboard mic for phone calls
A: Yes, they will! You will need to adjust volume via the PS4 when connected.
