      Hi there,

It is odd to experience static when using the mic. Make sure that you've got the headset fully connected into the PC controller, and that the connector is not loose. Please reach out to us (https://bose.life/38DNELy) for further support should you still need it, as we'd love to help.

The product is amazing is as advertised, however the noise cancelation Isn't working on 1 side after having it slightly over a month- which put it past the return date. 300 dollars down the drain.

Great sound; Comfortable, but did not last long. Paid too much for them to last 3yrs. Just stopped working. Manufacture WTY is 1yr. Thought Bose was built to last guess I was wrong.

Excellent headphones for gaming. However I wouldn't spend the 350 on them. Wait for Black Friday and the headphones will be around 200 and then you can get a boom mic that will plug in on ebay for 20 and it works just as good!

I’ve had the QC35ii’s for several years. They’re great for flying as the noise cancelling is state of the art. So when the gaming version came out, I had to have them. Yes this is just a QC35 with a microphone and controller. That’s literally the only difference minus some cosmetic things. I love the way the QC35 fits so I bought them anyways and gave my old set to my girlfriend. Pros: -Great noise cancelling -lightweight -very comfortable with no ear sweat -Microphone is very clear Cons: -noise cancelling levels are a pain to adjust. In fact, if you’re plugged in to your PC, you have to unplug the mic and then use the multi function button To cycle through the levels. -the side tone (ability to hear yourself talk) is easily adjustable between off-low-Med-high via the controller side button. But there is no annunciation telling you what level it’s set at, so you have to listen to the beeps and guess. -Controller usb cord is literally 6 miles long. -the controller and mic do not fit inside the case Those probably sound like a lot of cons but I still believe they’re worth it. But if any of those things bother you, you’ve been warned. The clarity of the mic and headphones speakers is superb. The volume knob on the controller is a great feature and although clunky, the side tone adjustment is cool. The battery life is actually really good. Even if they die, you can still use them- you just lose noise cancellation. Bose is all about clarity so you will notice a more balanced sound. This a dual purpose headset. You can use them for gaming, then leave the controller and mic at home and hop on a plane with them. That’s exactly why I bought them. The headset is completely wired which honestly I think Bose could have gone Bluetooth very easily. I totally recommend these based on the quality alone.

I was initially excited to hear the Bose quality sound in a gaming headset. However, this headset is not truly a gaming headset. The biggest disappointment is the fact that you can’t adjust master volume from the headset. Whenever you have the boom mic installed (for game chat), the volume controls are disabled. In order to change the master volume, you have to stop your game to bring up the game options menu, and change the master volume in your console’s/game’s settings. Bose really couldn’t find a way to perform a gaming function as simple as volume control? Really?

      Hey,

I'm sorry that you are disappointed in some of the functionality of this headset. I'll mask along your comments to our development team.

Once you have set the volume, you won't need to constantly adjust this!
