Superior in every way. Trouble with Sony headphones' bluetooth is not present in these. I have 3 other Bose of this same model - I should not have gone with the Sony.

not worth the money for Gaming

for the price point there are much better options for gaming headphones. however if you are looking for a pair of multi-purpose headphones I can see the appeal. with most most high level gaming headphones you can adjust your levels, not with these. As soon as you plug in the microphone it is stuck in one predetermined mode.

    Headset NOT WIRELESS BEWARE.

Bose what the hell. Most if not all wireless gaming headsets means no fricking wires. Instead u reuse the quietcomfort 35 II headset and then call it a gaming headset by slapping on a WIRED extending microphone! That’s right folks if u want to use the microphone that comes with these headsets it must be plug into the headset and plugged into the device your using. The headset with microphone cannot be used wireless no matter what u do. Such a same and waste of headphones.

Removing the detachable boom mic ruins the headset

I got these headphones over a year ago and within a 6 month period, my headset and boom mic had to be replaced (at different times). And now I'm outside that year warranty and having the same issues again. So now I'm out $300+ and have a headset that doesn't work. Please beware that even though the boom mic is removable, the more it's removed, the faster it will become a mess of static and stop working. The only way to safely pack it away in its case is to remove the boom, but this device was clearly not designed to have it removed on a regular basis.

      Hi Cassie,

I'm sorry to hear you've had issues with the boom mic. This certainly shouldn't be happening - the boom mic is intentionally designed to be removed so the headset can function as a standard set of headphones when your requirements change.

Hello, these headphones utilise both active and passive noise reduction technologies. They use a sophisticated proprietary electronics approach to active noise reduction, placing microphones both inside and outside the earcups. The electronics system senses the sound in almost any environment and then measures, compares and reacts—instant by instant—to produce an opposing cancellation signal. The passive noise reduction is achieved by the combination of the acoustic design and materials chosen for the earcups and cushions. By doing this, we are able to block out most noise, although sharp and loud sounds may not be blocked.
