Long enough to try each of the different sizes of stretchy things. Both ears felt hot and painful. If i rested the buds in my ear it wasn't painful, but they fell out at the slightest movement. Two stars because noise cancelling was very good for the short time i wore them. Difficult to get out of case. Almost needed a pair of needle nose pliers.

Not as good as the Bose QC ultra earbuds. Not as good but still great. Have both myself. If you can get the Bose QC earbud 2's on sale I would highly recommend. If you can afford the Bose QC ultra earbuds then I would highly recommend. You won't be disappointed with either.
