I lost my Quiet Comfort I earbuds while travelling on business. Am considering trashing these and finding a used pair of those again. Much better than the II version. The II version cuts in and out, goes offline whenever they feel like it. They suddenly will download firmware updates on me without my say so and the noise cancelling is nowhere near as good as version I. I thought the smaller more compact design would render the same quality and performance. Nope, not even close.

If you're not happy with the noise cancellation, I'd recommend checking that the "ActiveSense" setting is turned off in the app. As for any cutouts, try rebooting your smartphone, as this can sometimes help.
