These headphones have been absolutely amazing not only are they extremely comfortable but the sound quality has been fantastic I only wish that it was a little bit easier to use them in a talking to somebody scenario because they do sound a little muffled

I am trying several OTC hearing devices and true wireless earbuds to find a pair with appropriate fit, excellent music and phone calling ability and features for meeting the needs of hearing impairment. The Bose are, hands down, the best noise cancelling, high fidelity headphones I've ever worn. Period. Incredible presence and punch. However, as with so many earbuds, they don't sit in the ear canal and use silly plastic fitting rings to keep them in the ear. Additionally, the software does not have features needed by those with hearing issues. The buds to have microphones for allowing environmental sounds to enter the ear, but no volume control to allow those sounds to be amplified. The EQ is novel and helps a bit, but has no impact on the "transparent" environmental sound mode. Additionally, these earbuds are not compatible with Apple's Live Listen mode. Musically superior, but do not work at all in a market niche (OTC hearing aid) that BOSE invented! Disappointing, But, oh, the music!

Bought these for my so on her birthday. She liked the sound of them, but one of the earbuds just stopped charging/connecting or playing any audio. We tried cleaning the ear buds and the case and even tried factory defaulting them but ended up returning them.

Hands down best noise cancelling ear phones! Sound quality is amazing. Apple AirPods can’t compare. At the gym, when I have noise cancelling on, I can’t hear any weight or gym noises (weights dropping & clashing). Battery life is subperb!

I've had these for almost a year. I love them. They are comfortable and stay in my ear. I've never had problems with them, but the last few days they aren't charging. I'll update as things progress.

I enjoy these earbuds as they block out most of the noise on airplanes or at the gym. The battery life is great and the charger will recharge them as well. Nice and compact to fit in a pocket.

Clear sound for virtual meetings and music. Battery life was not a problem. Bluetooth connectivity is easy and requires carrying case button engagement to make initial setup.

I think Bose took the time to refine some of the things it got right and fix some of the things it got wrong in the previous generation - the case is now much smaller. It no longer has Q charging to cut down on costs for something that (I actually found convenient) but maybe not enough others used...its a good move. Size of ear buds - awesome reduction. Fit of earbuds by completely redisigning the surrounding rubber fittings - well done here too. They are snug and perfectly seal. Sound is perfect also - Built in EQ via the app is great though arguably they did such a good job on the sound I think it's just a nice to have and great incase you need to customize things just a little. Noise cancellation - Bose is at the top of their game on this and arguably the leader hands down. Price $299 reflective of the quality and materials and engineering - I think it fair. I have been very happy with these the past week and compared to others I have tried in the past month I know I made the right choice to stick with these....highly recommended.

4 stars out of 5 simply because I was still having ear fatigue even using the smallest buds. sound quality was excellent other than that. I returned these and purchased the Sony WF1000xm5 buds and sadly still own them. was a huge mistake and I should've just dealt with the ear fatigue :( I had to return my first pair of Bose ultra buds because they wouldn't connect but 2nd try was perfect lol

I wasn't expecting to like these Bose earbuds as much as I did. They fit well in my ears and stayed in while mowing the lawn and breaking a sweat. Never had any connection issues and the audio quality is stellar.

Bose Quiet Comfort II buds: Good? Great?

Ahh, the Bose Quiet Comfort II buds. I'm listening to them as I write this review. A little back story, I own the Bose Sport Earbuds and the original Bose QC Earbuds and have used the 1st gen QC exclusively for the last 6 months. I feel when it comes to the QC II earbuds there are some tradeoffs. The Bose QC II buds are smaller with a smaller case and better battery life overall. The active noise cancellation is certainly more advanced than the previous generation. The quality for voice calls is also slightly improved. When it comes to the sound quality while listening to music it's excellent for sure, but I'm not sure it's an improvement. I've listened to music across all genres on all three (Sport, QC Gen 1, QC II) to compare, I let other family members do the same to get their opinion. Everyone had a similar opinion, that the QC II sounded excellent, maybe even slightly enhanced bass over the other two offerings, but that it wasn't necessarily "better" in sound as compared to the 1st gen QC buds. Even it seems the QC II buds had a slightly lower maximum volume than the 1st gen QC buds. It's not a deal breaker, as they are truly amazing ANC and sound quality in a smaller package. A few design gripes in regard to the QC II: I miss the multi light battery monitor on the case. The QC II has only one light. The case lid on the QC 2 has no latch and is very easy to open. This may be a plus for some people, but I can see it could lead to the case opening unintentionally. The question many people will have is: Should I upgrade from my 1st gen QC buds? It's not a simple answer. It really depends on what you are looking for. You want improved battery life, better ANC, and a smaller form factor? Then sure why not. Are you chasing a better sound experience? Stick with the 1st gen QC buds or see if you can test them for yourself as I don't think you will find these to be superior in that regard. In the end 4 stars because I had very high expectations.

      Hello,

It's great to see that you're enjoying the noise cancellation, and sound from the earbuds. An finding them an improvement over the previous QC earbuds.

We can see you're concerned about there being no battery indicator on the case, there are two lights for battery status available. There is one inside the case for the earbuds battery level, and the second is on the outside above the Bose logo for the case battery. The user guide here https://bose.life/3dLlUXB from page 32 will go over the battery of the earbuds and case, with page 37 showing the charging case indicator light.

We of course value feedback, and we'd love for you to reach out to us directly https://bose.life/38DNELy to take your feedback.

Coming from Air Pods Pro and using AirPods 3. The noise cancellation and sound is far superior to both. Bose should have added wireless charging. Call quality is mediocre.

I own a pair of Apple Air Pods Pro. I like the fit and feel of the Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds 2. The noise canceling feature is outstanding. Especially useful in an open office environment. The sound quality is as good or better than any earbuts i have ever owned.

I recently lost the left ear bud and the charging case. I had considered not purchasing another set, but after experiencing the sound, fit and quality of the Bose Quiet Comfort ear buds, it was worth buying another pair.
