The audio format during a call will not be "A2DP" (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), instead it will be HFP/HSP (Hands-Free Profile/Headset Profile). I was nervous about these, be quickly grew to love them. The bass sound is exceptional! Leave it to Bose to get a killer bass sound out of such a small unit. The bass guitar and kick drums just sound sweet, they are defined without a buch of high end and they're warm.

Listening to media is nice and loud, but talking on the phone it sounds low and people confirm it to be that way when I ask them. I'm almost to the point of returning them of they don't update these.
