Also the ANC is a lot better too. The auto sound config or eq when ear bud is placed in ears helps with improving sound and ANC. Only downside is losing wireless charging.

The product does not feature any physical buttons so the touch controls are imperative to be able to communicate with the source device. If you're finding the controls intrusive, why is that? Bose knocked it out the park with these. The noise canceling function is top notch! I've tried many different brands and styles and can honestly say these are my favorite and very comfortable!

Call Quality - extremely disappointing

Call quality is 1/5 and that's being extremely generous. Bose was great to work with directly and had my original pair replaced quick and easy. However, the call quality on the second pair is just as horrible as the first. Everyone either cannot hear me when I'm talking at all or I appear to be extremely far away from the mic. It's extremely disappointing because the sound quality is so good. Especially at the price you pay.

It's great to hear you were impressed by the sound quality and noise cancelling offered by the QC Earbuds II. I'm sorry, however, to hear were disappointed by call quality. You did the right thing by reaching out to support for assistance, as this shouldn't be happening. I'm sorry to hear the replacement did not exceed your expectations.
Remember, you need to keep your phone within 10m for best performance and having the correct fit/angle in the ear can have a huge impact on how the beamforming mics direct and triangulate sound from the mouth to the earpiece.

Headphones need to be synced over and over. Long time Bose customer but these rival gas station headphones when it comes to quality. Sound is great when they work but constantly failing to connect to my phone which should never happen at this price point.
