And the instructions could be more detailed. Bose is really proud of these for the price just feel like their older models worked better but they are no longer available

It's great to hear you like the earbuds. With regard to noise cancelling, these have some of the most refined Active Noise Cancelling technology yet, so if you're not having a good experience it could be related to poor fit. I recommend trying the other tips and using our 'fit test' on the Bose Music app. With regard to instructions, the product support site offers loads of helpful tips and tricks for use - and PDF user manuals can also be downloaded. Which becomes annoying especially while traveling. Also the connectivity with your phone is not as seamless as AirPods.

You should take some time to experiment with different eartip and stability band sizes to arrive at a combination that suits you. Keep in mind that it’s common for left and right ears to vary slightly in shape, so sizes may not match from left to right. Also, eartip and stability band sizes may be mixed and matched (such as using a size small eartip with a #3 stability band). However this product was ok but i would suggest the newer generation of the Bose earbuds. These had some inconsistencies, from randomly disconnecting at moments to shorting out to static noise.
