Major Defects

The left pod drained at over twice the rate of the right and after a few minutes it fully stopped working. The other main issue was they "hiccuped" constantly. I looked online only to find that this is a common problem in the U.S. as well as in Europe. Bose eventually acknowledged issue and replaced with the headset version .

Can't tell if it's charging or not. The features are better as far as what you can do with them. Turn the sound up, skip tracks, pause or play.

Terrible Earbuds

Constant connection issues and sound quality is very poor. I returned them and got a set of the Beats Pro that blow these things away.

The case can’t be charge wireless.

A Step Backwards!

I was looking forward to these because of my good experiences with the prior generation. However, in many ways, the QuietComfort Earbuds II represent a step back. Specifically, Bose decided to go with a two piece ear fitting approach. This is simply too complex for me. I have swapped out various elements and I still cannot get a good fit. I do not understand why Bose went for this approach. A one piece works well for Bowers & Wilkins PI7, Sony, and Dr. Beats. The result - I cannot get a good seal in the ear. When I do, I am not impressed with the changes in sound quality. Consequently, I will use the Bowers & Wilkins PI7 - better fit, better sound, and less hassle.

OK at first
