Amazing noise cancelling. Nothing else works.

Multiple times, when removed from their case, one of the earbuds refuses to connection. The only solution is to wait 5-10 minutes and try again.

Posted .I'm very sorry to hear that the connection of your QuietComfort Earbuds II is unreliable!
You can try re-syncing the earbud and case connection. This is done by putting both earbuds into the charging case, closing the lid, waiting for the status light to stop flashing, opening the lid, putting the right earbud in first and then - once the right earbud is connected - putting the left earbud in.

Not worth the money

Within 2 weeks (15 days) this item started giving me problems. The left ear bud would not work. Despite being fully charged, it would not connect. Item is going back.

If there is one thing I am a huge fan of and tend to collect a lot of its headphones. Headphones, earbuds, true wireless earbuds, headsets, whatever you want to call them I love them all. I always go with headphones that have amazing sound quality and comfort but if there's one thing I can't live without it would be ANC or Active Noise Cancelling. I love being able to tune out everything around me and just enjoy whatever I'm listening too. That's where the Bose Quiet Comfort 2 earbuds shine. The Bose Quiet comfort 2 Earbuds are something I've been waiting for for a long time. I've had the first version since they have come out and felt there could be a few improvements to the design. Bose must have been listening to me because they have improved in every single area. Improved battery life-Check Smaller case-check Smaller earbud design-check Better ANC-check Better BT connection-check When you first open the box you have your typical simple setup with instructions, case, earbud tips, and of course the earbuds. Nothing too fancy but they scream quality as well. Its easy to set up the earbuds, you just download the app and connect to your earbuds which is super easy. Any firmware updates you have will be through the Bose Music app where you can also tweak the shortcuts, quick settings, ANC, and a few other features. For the most part it is setup to use right out of the box. The earbuds come with Medium tips and fittings already attached. However they also include small and large as well depending on your needs. I just stuck with the standard tips and its been fine. They go on just like any other earbuds with a twist into your ear. After everything is set up and you first put on the earbuds there will be a chime like sound which is the earbuds perfecting the ANC base on your environment. Which I do mean perfect. You can barely hear a person talking next to you while you are listening to music or Youtube or anything you would want to watch. It is almost like a you meditated and were able to come to a peaceful calm. Of course you can always turn off the ANC and you will hear the environment clearly. I've used them in several different settings and environments and they are amazing every single time. The sound quality of course is top notch as always and comes well tuned however you can always adjust that in the settings if you prefer more bass or any other tweaks you would want to make. With the new bluetooth I also have no drops in connection or sound quality. Overall I love these Earbuds and they are my daily driver. I use them for several hours a day and they never get uncomfortable or hot. They take away all the noise and leave me relaxed and able to enjoy my sounds in peace. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone who wants quality earbuds with the best ACN available on the market right now.

Large plugs don’t fit in case

With them installed, the buds won’t fit in the case to charge. After 2 weeks of disassembly & reassembly to charge and use them I’ve lost a plug. Now I’ve passed the return period.

Not truly wireless

Left ear bud can have 100% charge however if the rught one dies the left will no longer work. Can only take phone calls on the right ear bud as well. Extremely inconvenient in comparison to every other actual wireless ear bud on the market. Sound quality is good but beats fit pro and airpods pro 2nd gen are far superior.

This new feature lets you seamlessly switch between your earbuds, and if one earbud runs out of battery life or disconnects from Bluetooth®, you can continue listening with the other earbud without interruption. To access Independent Single-Bud Use, make sure the software on your QuietComfort® Earbuds II is up to date.

You should take some time to experiment with different eartip and stability band sizes to arrive at a combination that suits you, providing a gentle seal and a comfortable, stable experience. Keep in mind that it’s common for left and right ears to vary slightly in shape, so sizes may not match from left to right. Also, eartip and stability band sizes may be mixed and matched (such as using a size small eartip with a #3 stability band). If you find that you need alternate sizes, extra small and extra-large eartips and stability bands are available through Bose Support.

They worked great for about a month and now the left ear microphone doesn’t work anymore. Pretty annoying to only have one ear bud that I can talk on.

These headphones and my ears have become one!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoyed these earphones and I’d like to say I’ve been riding the wireless earbud wave for a couple of years and I’ve yet to come across something so comfortable, and a product that says it’s going to do something, and finding afterwards that they deliver. Enter Bose Quiet Comfort II. A game changer in a world full of loud noises. What sets these apart is the CustomTune technology which Bose boasts on their product page and it’s what makes these different than its predecessor; the QC1 as opposed to the QC2’s. I charged them with the included Type-C cable and they charged relatively quickly. They last all day (6 hours) I work 8 hours a day but they seem to do the job. They charge fairly quickly too so your down time is limited. The feature I really enjoy the most is the active sense. It basically sends a sound into your ear and cancels the sound form the outside depending on the level. I wear them quite often and don’t really notice them. It’s bliss when tuned to Quiet Mode because you can barely hear anything and music is that much more enjoyable. I work in a really loud environment and I have to wear headphones most of the time due to being on the spectrum so I’m extremely picky. I’ve gotten rid of very expensive earphones/headphones all because they simply didn’t cancel enough noise. I have no complaints about these, not one. Originally I was going to give it 4 stars, I had a couple of bad conversations over the phone but after fiddling around with the settings on the Bose app, I think I need to cut it some slack because the decibels the facility I work at puts out is insane. So the fact that they could still make out what I could say, because I was able to hear them, was astounding. This alone put the quality and inner-workings of these headphones on a more understandable level. The controls are easy to learn and switching between modes is super simple. You can control the volume, your virtual assistant, and skipping backwards or forwards of songs all with a couple of touches or swipes. You can also control the equalizer from the Bose app and find them in case you lose them. I haven’t used these features all too often because I always tune every equalizer in the same fashion and leave it at that and they never leave my pocket. They’re great features to have and at the current price point, they’re worth it in my opinion. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. And here I feel you get a bit more. In summary, it’s going to take a while for something else to come along and knock these out of the pedestal I put them on. I truly love and recommend these to anyone looking to up their audio game.

Overpriced Garbage

In 2 months the right ear bud has completely quit working, the left earbud is super glitchy, don’t stay in place well, just overall awful.
