The Unsyncable Earbuds that Sunk My Heart

It happened to me as well. Very uncool Bose. I was able to return the pair for another set that worked as intended, but I paid a little extra ($5). Like other functioning earbuds, they should sync and be available for use immediately after unboxing. Anyway, it can be an issue if you are a consumer who either gifts or waits (3 weeks or more) to enjoy these earbuds only to find that they don’t work and the time allowed to return them has expired. Recommendation: Even if this are a gift, check to see if both earbuds light up (white first and then blue) ASAP after purchase.

This certainly isn't normal behavior and should this problem occur, the best thing you should try first is the troubleshooting found on this page. https://www.bose.com/en_us/support/articles/HC2683/productCodes/qc_earbuds/article.html Failing this, service is recommended or if you're within the return period, contact BestBuy to seek a refund/exchange.
