I haven’t written a review on these because they were just “ok” to me. Great noise canceling, yes. Sound was just ok. HOWEVER, Bose’s recent update changed everything! They added an EQ! Bass, mid and treble all from -10 to +10. They also added “modes”, which one preset mode is “aware”, and it automatically controls the amount of noise canceling for you. Well done, Bose. Well done.

These Bose QC Earbuds are replacing my Jabra 85t earbuds. Oh, my what a difference. The Jabras spent a lot of their time coming off my ears and falling on the floor, plus phone call quality isn't that great. Whereas these Bose earbuds provide superb and rich sound, and very good phone call quality. I already had the Bose Music app installed and the app quickly found the earbuds and conected to them. The noise cancellation feature had two presets so I added a third one (allowed four) on which I set the noise cancellation at about 40% for home use. A double tap on the left earbud switches noise canceling modes. Bluetooth range is excellent. All told, I am indeed very pleased. I also have a Bose SoundSport Free earbud pair, which is excellent but does not have Noise Cancelling. The sound quality on this new QC pair is even better. Lastly, the "Stay Hear" wings, similar to what are on the SoundSport Free, really help keep the earbuds in place very well. You have to be sure to gently twist the earbuds to move the lower ends forwards to get them securely in place. Only negative thing is that it shuts out my wife's voice so much I have to take off an earbud to hear her! Now don't get cynical and say that's a good thing!!! :)

Best ear buds ever. I've got about 8 different buds, latest from Samsung, Jabra, Sony, and first generation Bose qc. The variable rate noise canceling is GREAT. Sound quality is excellent Bose quality. These are the only buds that I can do 2+ mile walk with NO Bluetooth drop outs!

This was a gift to my husband and he loves them. He says he wouldn't change a thing. They are very sound proof.

The sound is amazing. It really does seal out the outside noise. What do I dislike about them? They stick out of your ear too much. To use all the touch controls make sure to have both earbuds in. They're really 2 stars but the amazing sound gives it a 2-3 Star bump up on top.
