The original pair went on sale 24 hours after I placed the order. Best Buy was great and matched the price. There was alot of static when making a phone call. I returned them and upgraded to the newest model; the sound is better, but they are not for taking phone calls. However, the quality of music is better than that of my AirPods.

I'm on my 4th set. The first pair lasted 2 years. The 2nd lasted 1 year. The 3rd lasted 1 week. And now on my 4th. The sound is great. The problem is that the phone capability are poor. They stop working. The first two on the receiver's end. The last set on my end. I hope this set will last!

I was a former Beats Studio+ user and the audio quality is what stands out. The shape of the earbud and changeable silicone attachments make it more suited to the user ear shape. I haven’t had any issue with sound and noise cancellation working so far. The only thing for me that lacks is being able to see the battery percentage since you wouldn’t know when they will shut off.

I love them. I go to the gym with them. constant travel and the work perfectly. I was concern that it wasn't going to be as smooth as airpods but they work better i believe. I can connect several electronics at the same time and switch between them. love that feature.

No complaints, does what it says it will do, worked out pretty hard and didn't come out, slipped a bit but didn't come out which is already better than other expensive brands.

Outstanding sound quality. Stability band really helps buds stay in ear during exercise. Sometimes a little challenging to remiva from case.

Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) Great ANC

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) The QuietComfort line features a slightly unconventional design, characterized by its established configuration: an outer stem attached to a more rounded central body, which in turn feeds into a slender nozzle. The new earbuds are well-made and have a premium feel. They are equipped with stability bands, small ridges that tuck into the top part of your inner ear to aid in a more secure fit and help seal out outside noise better than most buds. Soft enough to be comfortable yet firm enough to act as an anchor, they’re a great addition that enhances the QC Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen)’s use for commuting and sports. I tried them out for a few short runs and some long walks and found that their locked-in fit made them a viable pair of sporting earbuds. The ear tips are comfortable, and you receive three pairs of each tip, along with three pairs of stability bands in small, medium, and large sizes. The new Bose buds offer six hours of battery life on a single charge, with three additional charges from the case, resulting in a total of 24 hours of battery life. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable for charging the case but no power brick is included. A quick charge that provides 2 hours of listening time after just 20 minutes of charging. An induction charger is listed in the paperwork that comes with the buds, but when following the link, the US site states that it is not available in your current area’. Bose advertises several improvements with the 2nd Gen Ultra Earbuds, including more responsive noise cancellation and improved noise suppression. The 2nd Gen is still one of the top contenders in active noise cancellation (ANC) technology, and an excellent choice for most people, with comfort at the forefront. The buds also support Bose-exclusive features, such as CustomTune, which customizes your audio based on the shape and depth of your ear canals. Sounds good on paper, right? I use several different brands of Earbuds with varying amounts of ANC, ranging from mild to max, but the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds stand out at the top of the field. They are comfortable and provide a good seal to help block out extraneous noise not driven by the earbuds themselves. The AI has a learning algorithm that works. It is better at detecting and blocking background noise that intrudes into your normal life. It is better at blocking out those fan noises, truck engines, blowers, and mowers. It is effective at blocking noisy workmen, voices, and crying children, as well as the clicking and clacking of that efficient mechanical keyboard. Usually, I prefer to use the maximum settings most of the time, but it is nice and helpful that there are extra noise-canceling levels for when you are working in a busy environment that requires the ability to hear something. Transparency mode is also good, and it sounds natural enough. It was perfect for grabbing a bite to eat with friends or family without the need to yank my earbuds out of my ears, which is always handy. The controls built into the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds have a large touch panel on the outer edge of the buds. Press once to pause your tunes, swipe up and down to control the volume, and double tap to skip a track. Hold the touch panel to activate your chosen shortcut. They’re responsive and work well. However, I often use the app on my phone to fine-tune what I need to set things to. Call quality is superb and clear, and it was an absolute pleasure to use while out walking, despite the presence of a lot of street noise. The noise just went away. On the other end, I was told that the sound was very clear, natural and not tinny. The sound quality of listening to music or watching a movie using the buds is relly good. The bass is thick and dynamic, but the detail and high-end retrieval simply isn’t as good as some buds that are specialized for that type of listening. I wish the EQ in the app had more customization options, but it still helps, even in its current form. I’m not impressed with the immersive audio, except in movies, as it consumes about half of the battery life over not using it. When I’m on a plane trip is about the only time I listen to movies with my buds because I want to get rid of all the things that bombard your hearing on a plane. A couple of additional points worth noting. It is a nice feature that you can use one or both earbuds according to your needs. Additionally, you have a multi-point connection, which works well. I was able to switch over from say a connection to my PC to Cell Phone or to things I cast to my big screen TV with no problem at all. Kudos to Bluetooth 5.3 and support for Bluetooth multipoint.

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd gen) raise the bar for in-ear earbuds. The comfort is there, and they sound great across genres. The battery/case holder holds the earbuds and can be charged by a USB cable (case is USB-C) or wirelessly. The earbuds are IPX4, sweat and water resistant, and last up to 6 hours a charge depending on the type of use. They come with S/M/L eartips and bands to secure them in your ear. Both are simple to remove and change as needed. The case can fully recharge them 3 times. 20 minutes can get you 2 hours of use while a full charge can take up to 2 hours. The case takes up to 3 hours to fully charge. The case is lightweight and easy to slip into a pocket to take with you. The Bose App lets you customize your sound as you see fit with impressive results. Connecting to a phone or other device through Bluetooth (BT) is straightforward and pairs quickly. Each earbuds surface controls songs or answers the phone. Both earbuds do the same functions, so if one is out the other does all functionality. The App lets you choose between Quiet, Aware, Immersion, and Cinema presets, or create your own mode. Immersion Audio selection lets the earbuds shine. In off mode the earbuds sound normal with a good soundstage. In Still or Motion modes, the earbuds simulate stereo speakers around you. Where off/normal is a normal flat across the spectrum, Still or Motion makes the music jump out. The bass really comes alive, the best I’ve heard on earbuds. It feels much bigger than two tiny in ear devices. The Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) is something Bose is known for, and these keep the tradition going. Whether full ANC or partial, it blocks or reduces background noise superbly. Be aware of your world, or escape from it, either way you’re covered. The App EQ has several presets that let you customize as you want to pump up Bass, Mid, or Treble. It also includes boost or reducer for Bass or Treble The eartips aren’t round, but oval. They still fit fine, and don’t go into your ear as much as other brands. They do create a nice seal to help keep out ambient noise. These earbuds are outstanding. Comfort, clear voice for calls, and the music playback stands out. Across, hip-hop, rock, classical, and jazz, every note was there and sounded great. These are my new go to earbuds.
