Bugs in the software

I’m unhappy and disappointed be cause it seems to be too smart. I have it connected by wire to a Smart Samsung television and mainly use Apple TV device. Everything is controlled with a Logitech remote. Approximately 25% of the time, the sound bar will not make sound when all devices are “turned on.” The Bose powers on, but doesn’t make sound. If the Bose is powered off, the tv powers off and then changes the input away from Apple TV. Occasionally, I must disconnect (unplug) the whole system from power to prompt rebooting. All said, it has bugs in the operating system.

Without the bass module I find this slightly better than others in the same class / price range. Compared to other soundbars this is slightly expensive. When you add the bass module feels totally worth the $399. I got the soundbar and the Bass module bundle for approx.$780 which was worth it.

Audio adjustments like dialogue mode, and level settings to center channel, bass and treble (-100 to +100 in degrees of 10) are done through the Bose App on your cell phone, and this works great because it is instantaneous, and doesn't require openning various windows or menus to make changes. Have not enabled Google or Alexa. Pleased with purchase.

I have been very pleased with my purchase. I got a good deal on this guy and decided to go with it before I go with the 700 series for my living room as I want this one for my bedroom. I was actually very pleased with how well with this sound bar can fill a room with very clear sound. Overall, I am a very pleased customer.

Connect to my phone and laptop pretty easy, but for whatever reason, my iPad does not see it. The sound is very clear and crisp. Haven’t got the chance to test at a high volume yet. It turns on when the tv is on, which is convenient. Also, it link to my Bose headphone, which is a plus. It’s compact, doesn’t take up much space. 4 star because my iPad did not find the speaker using Bluetooth.
