Q: Can you mount it on the wall

A: Yes but the wall mount must be purchased separately.

A: It is compatible with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.

Q: Can I use my Samsung TV remote to turn the speaker on/off and adjust the volume? I don't want to use 2 remotes for normal everyday TV listening.

A: Works for me. In fact, I have to use the Samsung remote vs. my paired xfinity remote. TV asks me every time I turn it on if I want to use the soundbar/bass module - kind of annoying actually because I have to use both the xfinity remoter and the Samsung remote.

Q: Does it have a center speaker like a 3.1? Does it have a surround sound effect? Does it have only a stereo sound effect? Thanks.

A: It does have a center speaker that handles dialogue. I don't notice any surround sound effects. Excellent sound though if you also get the sub woofer.

Q: Is the sound bar Epson projector compatible? My Epson 2200 projector with Bluetooth requires speakers to have "SCMS-T" compatibility... Is this unit SCMS-T compatible or is there another Bose that is? SCMS-T (Serial Copy Management System-Transfer)

A: Yamaha soundbars are about the only ones I can find that support SCMS-T Bluetooth compatibility with an Epson project.

Q: It says that the soundbar is bluetooth, would it still be possible to connect to a PC through aux cable? In other words, do I need to use bluetooth to connect it or is wired still an option?

A: Yes, you can still use a wired connection.

Q: Does this soundbar have a physical on/off button? my old bose soundbar quit turning on with the remote and it doesn't have a power button on the bar.

A: You can program to turn on your Soundbar with your TV through Powersync or you can use the remote.

Q: Can you add other bose speakers to this soundbar?

Fantastic Soundbar with a Few Things to Consider

Smart choice
Excellent addition to your home office or living room viewing experience. This is both functional and beautiful. The sound is precise, rich, and powerful. Even without the bass unit, it delivered a enhanced viewing experience. First movie I tested this on was From dusk Till Dawn. I recommend the bar scene with the guitars to really savor the sound from this unit. Testing optical and ARC, the ARC HDMI was the way to go. When I purchased the bass unit to accompany this, the experience took off to the next level. Wired is always the best way to go, The bass cable is sold separately and priced fairly on the BOSE website. Everything was top quality, mounted perfectly and so far the only complaint has been with the mounting brackets. The bracket guide does not include instructions for this 300 smart soundbar, although it is compatible. When mounting, do not rely completely on the bracket guide. You will have to make additional markings.

Easy set up and excellent sound. Would recommend.
Easy set up and excellent sound quality. Wish you weren’t forced to download an app to set it up but it wasn’t hard to do. The main reason we went for a sound bar was to be able to stop constantly turning the volume up and down during movies between action music and sounds and low volume talking and the sound bar really eliminates that issue we turn it on and never really have to change the volume.
