It has built in Alexa and works well with Spotify. The sound-bar by itself is good, but once I paired it with Bass Module 500 it’s awesome.

It is a royal pain in the neck, I just want a remote. Too many things rely on wifi. If this doesn't bother you then you will love the soundbar. One other thing, our amazing sound is a result of purchasing the additional sub woofer. It was an investment but worth it.

It's fantastic to see that you enjoy the sound from the Soundbar, and great that you got the Bass Module to go with it.
While we understand not wanting to use the app for everything, once you've got the Soundbar setup you don't need to use the app to control the Soundbar. Basic functions can be controlled through our remote, and you may find that your TV, cable/satellite box, or another remote can be programmed to control the Soundbar.
