Bluetooth Jumping Ruined the SUB!

The product sounded great initially. I am disappointed in this particular product. The lack of a display creates a hazard when switching devices. If you jump from the television connection to an audio device you can inadvertently experience a sharp increase in volume. Unfortunately this what led to the sub being blown. I take a high level of care of all of my audio-video equipment and have not experienced anything like this prior. I sincerely hope that Best Buy and or Bose will assist with a replacement.

It's great to see that you enjoy the sound of the speaker. The Bluetooth volume of the speaker will sync to the volume of the source device. If the source device is at a high volume the Soundbar will set to a high volume. The Bose music app can tell you what device your connected to.

First of all, you can't use a universal remote with this unit. You can only use the Bose remote so you will have to use several remotes. Next, you will need a high speed HDMI to connect between your TV and the soundbar. This unit takes a little patience to set up.

Your system can receive IR commands from other remote controls. This is useful, for example, if you want to program a third-party universal remote to control multiple devices in your home, including your Bose system. Your system can be controlled by universal remotes that send IR (infrared) commands. You do not need to change any settings on your system.
