I purchased this as a gift for mom, but have been shopping for a wireless Bluetooth speaker for some time. I was deciding between the JBL which has a cool light feature and sound in all directions from its cylinder shaped system and this Bose. I was able to test both as I taught mom how to use it and she was easily able to figure it out. The Bose system is superior in most settings. Especially in a four walled room or in larger rooms with vaulted ceilings. The sound seems to amplify and sounds exceptionally full. The JBL is great to place in he center of the room for all to enjoy but didn't have the same acoustics as the Bose in an enclosed environment. The JBL is enjoyed more outdoors for beach days and picnics. Both are great products, but the Bose wins out as the majority of the uses are for indoor.

Portable, long battery life and it sounds great anywhere in the house. Bought this while it was on sale for $118, worth every penny

Sound quality is excellent. Setup was voice activated and very simple. The speaker is very convenient to use and seamlessly switches between the two devices with which it can be linked. Excellent product -- particularly for the price!

I got the soundlink color for the wife to use in and around the house. We were quite surprised how full the sound was from such a small device. Virtually no distortion at full volume using our iPhone 4s. Easy to use battery life is good.

This was purchased as a Christmas present! The gift went over great! It's small and portable!! Great at the pool or in an office!! This small speaker gets pretty loud which is great for pool or beach!! Bought myself one as well !

Bose is noted for quality and this speaker gives quality music sound when connected (Bluetooth) to my IPhone. Instructions for set up were not great, but could figure out with other hook up experience. Great little speaker for the price.

I originally bought this speaker in the Red color but it stopped working after a few weeks. Not sure why exactly but, it was really tough to plug in/plug out the charging cable and it only worked while it was being charged. Any ways.... glad i got the geek squad protection plan on it because I was able to get a brand new speaker (same one but in White color) and the new one has been working perfectly fine! I probably just had a faulty one at first. However, i would still recommend this product for anyone who wants to jam indoors during a workout session and even for outdoor sessions! Also, it works really well with the iWatch!

Bought this bluetooth speaker to replace my old "wired" speaker system for my computer. So nice not to have all the speaker wires and cables all over my desk! Great sound, convenient to use, and easy set up! So happy with this product!

i love the sound quality. its a step above the $90 JBL bluetooth speaker. the sound is clear and its the right amount of loudness for a bedroom. love the fact that its portable. and the best part is you can sync up to 5 devices.

I also own the Beats portable speakers (they are about 4 times the size) and yes, they sound better but are 3 times the cost and 4 times the size. This speaker is awesome for the golf course, office etc as it's extremely portable.

I thought that this would be a simple speaker for listening while at work. This experience has been nothing simple at all. Great sound. great portability. Great price. I have the mini sound dock and this is what i carry around instead!

This was a Christmas gift from my husband . I have had trouble with other speakers in the past not having enough volume, but this speaker works great!! Even when I am on the treadmill. It is easy to use and small enough to be portable.

The SoundLink is light weight and has great sound! It will pair to any device, but you can also use it with a traditional "old fashion" iPod. We take this every time we travel so are able to enjoy all of our music, all of the time!

Bose has a great product. I especially like the size & the cool colors. I can put it anywhere & set it up to use with my IPad & my IPone.I also purchased the carry case. It fits the speaker perfectly & also protects it when traveling.

This product is awesome! I take it everywhere & have my entire family now wanting one. User friendly with a quick & easy Bluetooth connect. It has a long battery life & I like that I can quickly charge it while I enjoy listening.

great Bose sound and very easy to hook up. The reason why I didn't give it five stars is because I wanted to hook two so that I didn't have to keep moving it, (I have a small apartment, but I still would have to move it) . The iPad does not recognize a second device. So it may be five stars for this and a lower grade on the iPad?

This is a great speaker, it has really good sound. I have the original sound link that cost me much more then this one, and this Soundlink Color is has much better sound. Also it is very easy to set up with you iPhone, iPad and Ipod.

The sound and quality this Bose speaker is really good. Bought it for my husband and he loves it. Very easy setup with Bluetooth on his phone, took 2 seconds. Love it!!!!

This blue tooth speaker sounds great and was easy to set. I think I just had to wait a few minutes after plugging it in for it to charge enough for my phone to recognize it. The sound is incredible. I'm very happy with this.

Exactly what I expected from a Bose, since I already had the standard radio and the radio with CD player. It has a good purchase price and is so convnient to transfer from room to room, I can definitely recommend this unit.
