I was going to use this device for my son's birthday party. The setup was very easy, but to my disappointment, it wasn't loud enough. I understand a birthday party is loud, but I borrowed an Anker Soundcore before and that device was loud enough to cut through the party noise. At some point, I was actually asked to turn down it's volume. The quality of the sound between the Bose and Anker are comparable though, but the Bose just wasn't loud enough. I'd probably use for more private gatherings with less people and less loud ambient noise.

One thousand percent top notch!

Except the cheaper Flex speaker sounds a bit better. Believe me, I compared both with several people in the store. They swore by it as well. You absolutely can’t beat its clear sound, and this grand, top of the notch quality. This speaker goes amazing along with my movies on my projector.
