Excellent Product for living room Home theatre !

The sound system got adjusted to my high ceiling living room. I hear true natural sound that is very clear from regular TV programs/ Yupp TV movies. Get a theatre feeling in my family room. 2. You can clearly distinguish voice/ dialogues and other sounds from each other. Tested with various channels (news, Netflix, Apple TV, You Tube and found if wonderful 3. Tried various Sound Bar products at home to name few Morgan Stanley, D , Sony etc. Found this suites to our house environment 4. Having Bluetooth helps to play iphone music in simple way 5. I also have other SoundTouch speakers, I can play the music throughout all floors 6. Please note that this is better version compared o Bose Soundmate version, Please check 7. Finally installation is extremely simple and I can access all my HDMI players (Blu Ray, Apple TV, Cable TV etc) from this remote with no issues My family loved the quality..

Right for me
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had just remodeled our family room, with a 5.1 surround sound system that performed well but had speakers and wires everywhere taking up floor space. This system was easy to install, no clutter, and is easy to operate. The system performance in such a small package is surprising. No regrets here!

Not really wireless

Awesome Sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first want to say I had great customer service from the associate Korin Smith in the Odessa, Texas Best Buy. He went out of his way and helped me test and go through different sound bars in the store before I picked the Bose SoundTouch 120. The sound is awesome and goes around the room right to your ears, it,s clear and makes watching any movie, or listening to music 100x's better. The only problem into why I gave it only 4 stars is the SoundTouch App on my IPhone would not link up to my paid Spotify account (that's the only way it will work) and I can only use Bluetooth from my phone to listen to music. I looked up different tips and tricks to help connect but nothing has worked so far. Another perk was the universal remote now I wont have 4 remotes lying around I can just use the Bose remote and control everything off of that.

Best Sound bar I have ever owned

I was not sure if I wanted to buy SoundTouch 120, Doing some research couldn't help my self check it out in the store, and Surely I took one at home I would say took me about 20 min putting all these thing together. read the simple manual and its not that complicated to setup. I gotta tell you guys this speaker rocks. I cant go half way the volume my living and kithen is kind of open. So if I listen to music or something I can see the wife smile. even though she doesn't like tech stuff much even she liked it a lot. the app is great that go along with the system play musing from your smart devices. and we will be buying some more soundtouch devices to drop it different room throughout the house. Great Sound Quality, Even though its little expensive but trust me you wont regret that price you paid for this.

So Amazing!

But I have to SCREAM at the top of my lungs about how much I LOVE this soundbar! So, I am very technologically challenged. So when I was chatting with the sales lady (who actually worked for Bose, not Best Buy), I told her I needed something easy to set up and easy to use. After a few other questions, she showed me the 120. She also told me about Sonos, so I listened to that one too and I thought the Bose soundbar sounded far better. She was not lying, this system took me all of a half an hour to set up. There is something called Adaptiq that calibrated the speakers. That was also super easy to set up. Took about 5 minutes. Not only did my very first movie sound incredible but I can also listen to my Spotify and XM stations through my wifi. It is truly incredible that this 1 soundbar sound like there are speakers all over my room. I cannot recommend this enough. Can't wait to pick up the smaller speaker for my kitchen!

Unfortunately I was sadly mistake and I now wish I purchased the Sonos System. Don't get me wrong, quality of sound is as good as expected. However, Best Buy rep stated we can add more speakers to the system down the road = NOT TRUE per Bose outlet rep. Next, I miss the true surround sound feeling with speakers at each corner. I hate the main brain of Bose, why can't I just connect to the speakers?? In order to connect to the system using an app, you need to purchase the add-on for $99 however we did get that for free due to a promotion. The app is bug is buggy and does not do any of the features Sonas has to offer like playing different music in each room or the same tv station so you can hear the Super Bowl game.. I am very disappointed with the system, lack of configuration, and Best Buy rep., I rate it a zero but it does have quality sound.

Sounds amazing missing features

Bose does seem a bit behind when it comes to apps and connecting to other speaker systems, selection of comparable speakers is limited if you want to expand around the house and dont want to spend $1000 or more each time. Wish the sound link adapted to other Bose speakers easier. Like to the solo 5 system. Cheaper sound touch devices don't have optical or hdmi for tv hookup. Overall sound is worth it, will probably buy a separate cheaper bar for my other tvs.

After 30minutes on hold with BOSE support, the agent quickly told me ARC is a new technology and doesn't work with many tvs. I had to buy an s-video cord so that Netflix and apps would play with sound. Very impressed with sound quality while watching movies, very crisp and great detail. Listening to music leaves something to be desired. Music sounds fine, its just not really an improvement over the $350 Panasonic surround DVD combo I had been using, especially the base. I have not been successful programming the remote so still use 4 currently. I purchased on sale for $1000 and just can not justify the extra money compared to the cheap Blu-ray surround systems.

Great sound, Horrible software

However, setting up the SoundTouch technology was a nightmare and apparently you can't use Bluetooth or anything without it. The SoundTouch app they wanted me to download did not work on my brand new Android phone and my Android tablet would even download the app! And you can't set it up without the app. NEVER had this problem with any other apps on my phone or tablet. This home theater system is going back to the store ASAP. You pay this much for something and it should be fully functional with no problems. I'm going back to a simpler surround sound system.
