Q: Can the 120 be made into a surround sound system by adding 2 more speakers?
A: Hello Niss. The Bose SoundTouch 120 system is designed as a standalone home theater product with connections only for the included sound bar and bass module. You would not be able to add more speakers for a surround setup. We do offer a great surround SoundTouch system, the SoundTouch 520, which may be a great option for you. Thanks for the question!
A: I think 5 feet is fine, you just need to run the calibration once you place it where you want it.

A: There are no additional audio components needed to enjoy the home theater experience that this system has to offer.
Q: can i connect my sony blue ray player?
A: Yes, you can connect your Sony Blu-ray player to the system.
Q: Is this 120 system compatible with philips TV ?
A: If you TV has an HDMI output yes for best performance but you can also use your normal Yellow/White/Red inputs to hook up. Highly recommend this system.
A: The soundbar would be connected to the console with a wire. However, the bass module is wireless.
