Hello Niss. The Bose SoundTouch 120 system is designed as a standalone home theater product with connections only for the included sound bar and bass module. You would not be able to add more speakers for a surround setup. We do offer a great surround SoundTouch system, the SoundTouch 520, which may be a great option for you. Thanks for the question!

When you calibrate the system it asks you to move to 4 different sitting positions within the room your using it in and then sit back and let Bose surround you with amazing clarity and sound. I cannot tell you how many times we or guests have heard a sound during a movie and had to turn and look and see if someone or something was behind us. It fully engulfs you on all 4 sides and even above you with its super realistic sound thats amazing. Big movie theater sound from two speakers that sit infront of you and next to the TV. This is one of the best sounding systems I have heard and music also sounds amazing. I love being able to control the system with the Bose app on my iPhone.
