This is a great sound system. I love it and use it almost every day. I love that I can play the music at a low level and not annoy the people around me, without having ear buds in.

The speaker itself is excellent. My intention was to use it around in an open space office. However, people around you can hear your music, podcast, or conversations. There is no privacy what-so-ever. Nice product, but not for me.

What a cool augmentation of the standard headphones. No wire and nothing to cover your ears. The music sounds great and at the same time you are not isolated from the world.

These have awesome sound. You can wear them and still hear whats going on around you. Less dangerous in public with traffic and no one can sneak up on you walking.

This little device offers great sound and makes it feel like it's playing music from all around you. While others around you will still be able to hear what you are listening to, it's strongly directed up at the user.

Summary At first I questioned the use for the Bose SoundWear Speaker, as it has a very unique design. I will start off you have to have the right environment or place to use listen to this product. I used this product mainly while at work, at the gym and while washing the car. I have also had the opportunity to wear it while riding my bike at the beach. This is a great device for having good sound while, being able to hear the people and surroundings around you. A big plus for buying this speaker is you do not have to constantly be pulling out your ear buds every time someone says a word to you. Design Bose did a great job building this speaker with their use of high quality materials. The speaker includes a leatherette and cotton/polyester cover that covers the entire speaker, including all buttons. The cover has printed indicators of the buttons underneath. I wore a black shirt and with the black cover, no one could tell I had the speaker around my neck. Bose offers different colored covers as accessories so that you can match your taste and fashion. I also liked the weight, comparing this product to headphones, this product is fairly light and can be worn for hours without any fatigue. The buttons are conveniently located and help you pause, fast forward and rewind music tracks. This speaker is also water resistant, so I am able to wash my car, hear my surroundings and not worry about water overspray damaging the speaker. Battery life is very great. I am easily able to get through and eight hour work day with out ever touching half of the battery. Sound Bose Soundwear, for the size has a good sound. The speaker has two speakers that are accompanied by two bass ports. Since you wear the speaker around your neck, the sound and bass is delivered right to your ears. Also, worth mentioning, since this is a wearable speaker, you will literally feel the bass from your music. When using this speaker I found that it sounds best at a low to middle volume. When pushing this speaker to a higher volume, it does tend to loose some of the audio clarity and that might just be because it’s so close to your ears. For some people that are a little sensitive to the bass, you are able to turn down the bass through the Bose Connect app. I really enjoyed the quality of sound, because it truly submerges you into you music. Flaw A flaw I found with the speaker is its use with Siri with iPhone devices. When activating Siri, there is a longer than expected delay before you are able to give a command. I also wished this speaker would have come with a case. It does have a cover to keep it protected, but I would like to see some type of hard case to store the speaker in when traveling.

Bought this for my wife as a Christmas present. The sound quality is amazing and the ease of it in your shoulders instead of falling out of your ears is awesome

Great for walking and not getting tangle with headsets. I love sound as well only thing I wish I could change that it ran all day so that I wouldn’t have to used headset.

Excellent wireless speaker, comfy and durable. Prolly won’t be too comfy however with someone with a very wide neck but it does expand!

Great sound, love every part of it . Just have to be careful if you are walking around, it likes to slide off the back of your neck. Overall, great product.

The sound is Bose like, crisp and clear sound. I love how well you can hear the music but still be engaged with what’s going on around you. I use my speaker while playing poker and yet has anyone complain about it.

Just like any Bose product, it doesn’t disappoint. The sound is great. Although limited on when and where you can use it, if it fits your lifestyle you’ll love it!

I had other headphones that hurt my ears these I wear all day at work 8 hours & they don’t bother me plus battery life is great still have 50% after 8 hours of play

These are great for working around the house sound is great and only the wearer can hear the sound it's not like just having a bluetooth speaker around your neck

My husband uses this all around the house and essentially has music wherever he goes, without plugging his ears and missing the world around him. He loves it !!!
