Love the Bose soundwear. The best I have ever used

The Bose SoundWear is a very surprising device for me. I was not expecting it to be such a great experience and have that much fun with it. So, let's divide the experience in positive aspects and places to improve so we cover it all: POSITIVE: 1. Quality, as a Bose enthusiast, the quality of their product is something that has always capture my attention. Makes me happy to feel the good materials, the awesome design and overall, to have a great experience from the moment I just took it out the case. 2. Design: I know that design is a very subjective matter but, I like this device A LOT. I find it elegant and subtle and not to "in your face" if that's appropriate. It is perfect to enjoy 3. Freedom: Oh yes, the fact that I don't have to have my hands or even my ears inside some earphones. I had an ear surgery long time ago that prevents me to listen to music for an extended period with earphones so, when I saw this... Was the answer for my problems. 4. Sound: Sound is a positive and a Negative area for me on this device. As for the positive, is remarkable how great and pure the sound from this device is. That make me realize how well designed this device is. Well done Bose AREAS TO IMPROVE: 1. Power: Linked with the 4th of the positive, yes, the sound is very good quality but, it lacks power... which is not surprising based on the purpose of this device... but you won't have the "woooow" effect of other Bose's products (Like the regular wireless earphones) 2. Limited usability and "scope": Sometimes you just want to relax in a place that happen to have a lot of people around (like your office), put on your earphones and get immerse in a universe of good music (whichever you prefer the most). This device, though is awesome, is not suitable for this situation because, everyone will hear what you are listening and, in the office, will be very distracted... That's why I say the usability is limited, because is not appropriate for any other situation that you alone, at home. As a conclusion, you can see that it is a great device and worth the check for sure. You will be surprised how much it is capable of isolate you from the outside world. Just and advice, please remember that even though you feel isolated, you are not, and everyone else can hear you...

Lightweight and innovative alternative to listening music .....

I like sound speaker. I like listening on them while I’m relaxing in my bedroom.

I wasn't sold on the overall design of this speaker. Well, it is great! I love the sound and most of all the comfort of it! First off, it is Bose so the unit is packed and protected very well. The unit is simple to control and fit perfectly around my neck. Sound quality is very good and despite the speaker being a few inches away from your ears it sports decent bass! It performs well with podcasts, books, and music. Battery life is quite good and can make a long walk and several hours of work around the house with ease. I wasn't sure how this unit would work for me but I'm pleasantly surprised. It is perfect for walks and working around the house. Reason being it has excellent sound quality but you can still hear your surroundings if need be. The only drawback I can think of is that these wouldn't be a good choice while using power equipment during mowing, trimming, or using a chainsaw. That, and they do get a little warm after wearing them a while. But I still love them for walking, hiking, house work, etc. Highly recommended!

The sound is good but you hear the vibration of the sound on your chest

Received the Bose SoundWear Speakers 27SEP2017. Came extremely well packaged however every product we have ever received from Bose came extremely well packaged. First impression is solid, well built, and interesting. I Touched the ON button and the system voice announced a 50% battery. Without touching any other buttons, to my knowledge, a voice announced, "connected to Dave's iPhone". I use my iPhone for music in our vehicle, my iPhone was still connected to a music service and the SoundWear picked up the music and began playing music with incredible deep rich sound. I have the QuietControl 30 headphones, I assumed the controls were similar so I used the SoundWear controls in the same manner and the system worked flawlessly. I’ve enjoyed using the SoundWear Companion for the last week. You get a long play time before having to recharge the unit. Pros: Simple, easy to use, and stylish. Beautiful deep rich sound. Listen to music or talk on the phone while remaining connected to the sounds in your surrounding environment. Light default in sound to notify you when you receive a message or email. Lightweight, you won't know you're wearing the SoundWear Companion. Solid quality construction. Simple to adjust to your own personal comfort. You can form the SoundWear to your shoulders or set it down on a solid surface and listen to your music. Provides a very noticeable vibration when receiving a phone call. Long lasting power so you can enjoy even more of your favorite music. Cons: Depending on your listening volume people around you will be able to listen to your music or phone calls etc.
