It seems that it is not very compatible with PC, which means it disconnect sometimes.

I can see the appeal, however, the sound isn't what I was expecting.

I've used this for the past 6 months and am extremely frustrated that this expensive purchase turned out to be NOT worth the $. I connect it to my work phone via Bluetooth and I have lost count of how many times it has completely disconnected my phone call with clients because it loses connection with my phone. This wearable speakerphone just completely drops the call when it loses connection with my phone. Incredibly frustrating and of course, Bose won't do anything about it because I've owned it for more than a few months and of course, BestBuy won't take it back because it's been more than 30 days. I'll never buy another Bose headset. This is the 3rd one I've bought and I'll never waste my $ with them again.

What's not to love! I love music. Music playing all the time. Music over tv. I have many different Bose earphones ands speakers. Even my auto has Bose. I love them all. And this is no different. I love to listen to music loud. I find that I do not need to turn this up as loud as I normally do with earbuds because it hangs around my neck. I get all the sound I want! When I am out walking and excersizing I like this better as I can still "hear" the other people and vehicles coming up behind me yet I am still in my own world. The battery life on this is incredible and the fact that I can buy a skin to the change the color on the soundwear speaker means I will never tire of it ( as if) and be able to color co ordinate it if the mood or whim strikes me! I wanted to like this. I did. And I do. But I didn't want to love this....and I do!! Bose hit another one out of the park! If there is a CON to this it is that I wear this SO much during work outs and yard work that I have perspired on it and I wonder how to get the perspiration out of the cover and if it will eventually hurt the unit itself. No bother! I still won't be without this amazing unit!!

struggles to sync at times and not always user friendly

I didn’t know what to think about a speaker that you draped over your shoulder that doesn’t have earbuds attached. But then I tried it. The sound is what I’ve come to expect from Bose. It is lightweight and comfortable while wearing. And I like that I can answer phone calls with ease. Battery life is decent.

There is nothing like the sound of Bose audio. Bose is just the right mix of bass and treble for my taste. This product is no exception. This device looks like a neck pillow that one would wear on an airplane and I wasn't sure what I would think of it. I put it on, paired it and started listening to my favorite tunes. I was expecting it to be heavy and cumbersome, but it wasn't at all. It was actually quite comfortable and sounds very good. I also tested a phone call with a business associate. He stated that it sounded like I was talking through my phone and that the quality was business quality. I could hear him well and enjoyed not having the handset up against my ear. It isn't a private conversation though, as the sound comes right through the speakers. I am pleasantly surprised with the quality, sound and comfort from the Soundware device. While this wouldn't be good in an office setting, I see myself using it when I study and work from home. It's like having a portable boombox around my neck.

I opened the box as soon as it arrived because I was excited about this after reading all of the great reviews. It would not power on so I charged it for about 4 hours thinking that will solve the issue. After charging the device it still would not power on. I did a Google search and found instructions about updating the device and it linked me to a bose technical support site. I followed the instructions and still could not get the device to power on. I downloaded the bose app and did everything that I could possibly think of and no luck. Unfortunately, I will be returning this device tomorrow.

I have had these for a while and have really enjoyed them. The sound quality and clarity is better than expected. While wearing them it sounds like surround sound. I am a bass guy and the bass really hits on these. The sound also will go so loud you feel as if you could annoy those around it. Quite the contrary, the sound is very localized and when you aren't wearing them, it doesn't sound overly loud. As to comfort, the material is exceptional and it fits snugly to your shoulders even in moderate activity, but I wouldn't recommend running with them. I am 5'11" and they aren't tight or loose, great fit.

I’ve had the Bose SoundWear Companion for a couple of weeks now, and while I am impressed by the extremely clear details in music and videos, and impressive bass audio, I am also trying to think of ways this speaker could be useful. I was mostly impressed by how the speaker preformed while watching a movie, every detail and every sound effect can be heard from this comportabole, flexible speaker. Yes listening to music sounds good as well, but I found that playing a Bose Soundlink Bluetooth Speaker (in my case the Revolve +) has deeper bass and more range. This is something you may want to consider when spending a bold 300 dollars. I’m excited about how the SoundWear sounds, but not it’s price tag. Keep in mind that with 300$ you could buy the Soundlink Relvolve+, the SoundTouch 10, Bose’s new Soundsport Free earphones, Soundlink over ear headphones, or almost three of the new Soundlink Micro Speakers. That’s many options you should think about when buying this. The SoundWear’s biggest use I believe, is taking and receiving calls.

If you're considering buying this item, you need to splurge on yourself and buy it! This speaker will not let you down! It's absolutely fantastic! If you have issues with hearing your device's volume, this is the speaker for you! It can get very loud and has a design that makes it easy to be hands free and still take with you! I've always heard Bose had amazing products but never knew just how amazing they were until I got this speaker on a whim! You'll love every minute of it and you'll be glad you bought it! It's worth every single hard earned penny you spend on it! I would recommend this speaker to everyone and their brother!

I love BOSE products. I wanted to try this product because I was expecting high quality sound and pure sound. I wasn't disappointed. I listened to music and audio books with this speaker. My husband and I both enjoyed the light weight design and big sound from a small speaker. It was very simple to use. I loved everything about this product and could find nothing that I would change about it. I definitely recommend this product to all my friends and family. The premise behind this product was innovative and promising but in the end, this product was a total le down. Anyone, even in union square NYC, can hear what you’re listening to with these. In fact I feel like the sound tech that comes with the oculus quest is more discrete than this. I bought this for like half off and still had to return it. Really want them to refine this tech and re release

This is the running accessory I have been waiting for. Finally, a music solution for runners that is SAFE! I never run with more than one headphone in or covering my ear so I can hear the world around me; primarily the road noise. The problem with running is that many headphones completely separate you from your environment, which is not safe. The Bose SoundWear Companion speaker is the solution my family and I have needed: a means to run, listen to music, and be safe and aware. The sound out of these is excellent, to the point that I have now started using them for daily tasks: working, doing dishes, doing laundry, etc. Now, you can have your own private music, but be present in your environment, and I love that.

Was excited to purchase but did not like it and returned it. Sound wasn't loud enough for me.

Simple Review: Once you think of all the possibilities this headset opens up it can be your best friend. Buy This! Long Review: Starting with the unboxing experience once you get past the plastic and pop it open to a big not heavy neck speaker. Inside your provided with tons of little books and a really tiny micro usb cable for charging. That's pretty much it and once I powered it on with about 60% power and an updated needed from the Bose Connect app which I recommend downloading for the update. When it comes to equalizing it's not for that just lower the bass or leave it alone. Once you get to the performance piece it's a quality Bose product as you expect. Sound quality is clear with a decent amount of bass to support it. The controls are simple but I'd still read the tutorial section of the app to teach you quick like. One thing I think is important is what to use this product for. I use it for watching content on my VR so that way I can still hear what's going on around me. I've also used it for conference calls and just the occasional music streaming experience. There is more experiences and I think you will find something for you that makes this wearable make sense. Simply put Yes I recommend this and depending on your needs this could be your next great purchase that you can't live without. Thanks for reading my review.

Heavy when worn for long periods. Minimal bass. Found earbuds to be more versitile.

This is just a weird product. I'm not sure why you would want or need wearable speakers. BUT, the sound quality is awesome! My husband and I took turns standing across the room from each other trying to hear if we could listen to the music. Each one of us said that they could hear the music clearly on themselves but not on the person across the room. I feel like if I use speakerphone a lot this would be a really good product but I'm not sure where else it would come in handy.
