The speakers themselves are fantastic. Audio over wireless works really well. The reason I took away one star is because like many other Bose products, these speakers require a proprietary plate to mount or basically do anything with these speakers. If you're not looking to spend an additional $120 on speaker stands, be ready to place these on an end table or build a shelf for them. Over all quality is super though.

Compared to the sound bar and sub, this addition is for suckers. Intermittent connection to the source (sound bar) and weak output make these things worth about $50 vice the $300 you WILL pay for them.

I cannot rate it because when we bought it and tried to set it up the screw was dented. We are waiting until friday when the delivery comes in because they didnt have any in stock at the store.

Don’t waste your money on Theese speakers. The SoundTouch 300 is a great soundbar. These barely produce any sound and you can’t control the levels even with the amp.

You get good sound from the tiny little speakers. Surprisingly good sound. Paired with my Bose soundbar.

For the first time in my audio listening years I can hear and at the same time feel my audio. This is absolutely the best quality reproduction of TV audio in a 5.1 configuration I've ever heard. I replaced an older Samsung that was causing intermittent problems with the New Bose Soundbar 700, the Bass Module 700 and the Surround Speakers. There is no comparison to other systems I've owned in the past with this Bose system! These Surround Speakers are powerful little mites that do actually compliment the Soundbar 700! Small in size but mighty in sound output. Amazing how Bose can completely surround you with quality sound from "places" you've never heard it from before! Now I am not as techno savvy as some, and also i have a Total Tech Package with Best Buy, so I utilized the Geek Squad subcontractor TX1Communications for the installation, and I'm very glad I did! these guys had the system up and running in no time! One issue came up during the installation. When it came time to pair the remote to the TV and Uverse receiver, the remote would not recognize them. The technicians immediately put in a call to Bose only to learn of a 6 hours wait for assistance. I in turn while they were working to get assistance went to the Bose website, to the Sound bar 700 support/technical support/Remote/Remote set up is not working to find this: "Your Bose Soundbar system will have the ability to control all of your devices from one remote, the Bose Soundbar Universal Remote. This functionality is not active yet, but will be activated during a future Soundbar firmware and Bose Music app update. We anticipate this update being available early to mid-October. Product firmware updates happen automatically in the background, and they typically install overnight. Please note, the remote will still control the soundbar itself, so you can adjust volume, switch sources, and stream music via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi." So what the techs were trying to do is not optional at the moment and won't be until Bose pushes out the update to the remote in order that it might accommodate other IR components. So I will patiently wait. Also not the Bose remote communicate with the sound bar through Bluetooth, not IR line of sight. If you have component that utilizes IR to communicate the sound bar converts the Bluetooth signal from the remote to IR and broadcasts it to the TV, DVR, etc. All in all I couldn't be more pleased with the sound reproduction from this system, it is literally worth every penny spent! I would recommend this system to a friend. And my service throughout the Geek Squad I recommend just as highly..!!! Thanks Bose, Best Buy, Geek Squad and my installing technicians!!! Will report later on future performance.

After set-up, these surround speakers are well below the standard that I have been accustomed to from BOSE. Ended up returning them, well below par.

I have Bose 300 touch sound bar and i also got these two small BOSE speakers to be honest they are so low and can't ever put volume on them they are set default that way. If there is way put volume up a notch on these small speakers would help! I honestly think if there is no fix for them then is not worth getting them o paying $299!! " anyone have this issue or fix for this" ??

We could not get the speakers set up to work. We will be returning this item.

It is nice to have these connected through blue tooth! Don't have to worry about wires running all over the place. They work great and really fill the room well once it is all set up through the app. The CRANK loud when you need them! Really happy with them for sure. Adds a lot to the bar system.

This Changed everything! I recently bought the SB 500 and module and even though I loved the sound and the set up process. I felt that it was lacking that extra something special, this did the trick! Now the whole 500 sound system produces beautiful sound/music all around me. Please do the adaptQ first then raise the volume appropriately to fit your needs. I literally have a concert hall in my bedroom now ;)

*Please read full review: I have owned these surrounds for about 4 years and for most of these 4 years I have been really disappointed in these surrounds. As others have said, they produce very little sound and are not even close to the sound quality of the sound bars and the subs. For the majority of this time, my Bose set up included the SoundTouch 300 Sound Bar, the Bass Module, and these surrounds. My TV was a 55 inch Sony 900e (2017) and mostly using an Apple TV 4K, first with the 1st edition and recently with the 2nd version. When listening to music, the sub really came to life and the sound was pretty decent out of these surrounds. However, when watching a movie the sub and the surrounds were barely noticeable. In December (2021) I upgraded to the Bose Soundbar 900. The sub and surrounds were still compatable. With this upgrade, the bass module really came to life while watching movies. It was incredible the difference, with again, the only difference was the soundbar. The connection between the sub and the soundbar was clearly better. A couple of weeks ago, I upgraded our TV to a Sony 55 A80J Oled (2021), which passes through Dolby Atmos. This update brought the surrounds to a level that I have only dreamed about. The Soundbar 900 obviously includes Atmos and the sound difference out of the surrounds is night and day. They sound fantastic and much more inline with the quality of Bose. We typically have the surrounds behind curtains and I would have to raise them and uncover them while watching a movie to barely hear them. Now, we can leave them covered and they help to create a 360 sphere of sound when watching really anything, but especially in Atmos. The way this all happened leads me to believe that the sound quality of the speaker really depends on the signal from the sound bar and also the TV. For 4 years, these have been not worth the money, the last couple of weeks, they have been 100% amazing. Why 4 stars instead of 5, well, the last 4 years of mediocre have to count for something, though not all of this I believe was at the fault of the speakers. If you have a modern system, save your money and get these. If you have an older system, you may have to get the newer surrounds, I think they are called the Surrounds 700. I have not heard those yet, but currently, I am in no rush to upgrade! I would imagine, the newer tech would help with the better signal if you have an older set-up, but this is only speculation based on the improvement of the signal between the new Soundbar with the older sub.

I spent $80 on these, had a few coupons and I found it open box. They are great, but the $299 price is just something very Bose and does not reflect the quality that good (I wouldn't have paid full retail). These should maybe be $179 at most, but overall they look good. I would suggest getting the omni jewel ones instead of these, slightly more expensive but they will look even better.

For these speakers being so small, the sound is great. The only downside is you need brackets or stands made by Bose, you can't use universal brackets or stands. I purchased these speakers in December 2018, a month after i purchased the Bose 700 soundbar and subwoofer. At first I figured I didn't need the rear speakers, but I was wrong. It makes a huge difference having the rear speakers. You hear a lot more!!!

I bought the Soundtouch 300 soundbar with the acoustimass 300 bass module & virtually invisible 300 rear surround speakers to replace my 25 year old Bose acoustimass surround speaker system. This system was poorly demonstrated in the retail store alongside a top competitor's system. I chose this system based on my previous experience with Bose since the 80's. Coupled with my 4k SUHDTV, the system doesn't disappoint me with sound performance and clarity. The soundtrack isn't overriding the voice anymore. I'm experiencing true realistic surround sound that follows 3D blueprint architecture. Whereas some users experienced difficulty pairing the remote control with cable, dvr, tv, etc., I found the remote to be a great replacement. The negative side of this system is minor and major. Minor - frequently, the Connectivity Indicator of the soundbar will turn solid amber and make one think that the bass module and/or surround speakers have lost wireless connectivity. Simple to reset. Major - the HDMI ARC will drop the signal and requires resetting the dvr and/or tv by unplugging the unit(s) from the electrical outlet or power supply. I returned the 1st soundbar after the 3rd loss of signal prior to the Superbowl, but found the replacement loses the signal as well. The loss of signal occurs at least once a week. Inconvenient if recording a show or movie while watching tv or recording. I would like to think a software upgrade or patch in the near future will fix this issue.

Works great so far! Installed in my den using wiring already in the wall from my previous Wired Bose speakers.

For everyone reading the reviews and notice all the negative ones regarding the low volume of these speakers please ignore them. These sound great, and will go perfect with your SoundTouch 300 bar. You can't adjust the volume on the surround speakers itself, but you can do so in the Bose SoundTouch app. Bose has updated the app so you can adjust the surround level.
