A: Yes it is.I just added them to my 600,and they work just fine.Only must be on your ear level.
A: The Bose 700 speakers are about twice the size but have a higher output, I have not personally heard the 700 surround speakers, however I do have the surround speakers from Best Buy and I enjoy them. I considered returning them for the 700, but I like the low profile look of the small speakers - as they also have big sound. You can even find Bose stands for the speakers that look great!
A: The speakers connect via a physical cable to a wireless receiver. The wireless receiver then connects directly to a power outlet.
Q: Will these speakers be compatible with the bose solo tv sound system?

A: I have the Bose 500 sound bar and bass module and recently purchased the wireless surround sound speakers. I was able to pair everything with no issues. All the pairing is done through the Bose app. If you don’t have a bass module I would definitely recommend snagging one of those it’s amazing as a pair.

Immersive Surround Sound
I bought these to go along with my Bose Soundbar 500 and wireless Bose Bass Module 500 subwoofer because I didn't get the immersive surround sound experience I wanted with just the soundbar and subwoofer. Adding these surround speakers makes a huge difference! I now hear sound effects coming all around me and it's very close to the experience I used to get from my wired 5.1 home theater receiver which died when my old HDTV died. To be able to get this type of sound experience from a space saving and minimalist soundbar system is amazing. I'm very happy with this combination. The setup was very easy. It was the same setup process used when I added the subwoofer. Just use the app to add the surround speakers to the soundbar. You can adjust the volume level of the surround speakers using the app if you want a more pronounced surround effect. My only complaint is that it's a little hard to find stands for these speakers since Bose uses a proprietary mounting system so I'm currently using some candle boxes to place the speaker at my ear level (when I'm sitting on my couch). One last note. I might be imagining this but I think the sound quality and surround effect has improved during the time I've been using these speakers. Initially, the app incorrectly reported that I had the Bass Module 700. But now the app is correctly reporting that I have the Bass Module 500 so I think the app was updated and I'm wondering if the update is responsible for the improved sound experience I'm getting. Anyways, I'm super happy with my Bose soundbar and surround speakers.

Great Purchase
Great Purchase; I bought an open box in excellent condition and I don’t believe the had ever been opened, all the seals were perfectly intact… I’m an old man and whether technology illiterate so as I did with the previously purchased soundbar 600 and Module bass speaker 300 I had to get help from tech support I had to get assistance pairing them but once I got through to them it took less then 15 minutes… Contrary to some of the reviews I read these speakers sound great… I really enjoy listening to music and along with the Bose app downloaded on my phone I’m able to adjust the sound perfectly to my liking, I highly recommend these speakers to complete the perfect surround sound…

Surround speakers
We are so happy that we went back and purchased these the day after we boughg the bose soundbar. They sound so great and we love the movie theater feel when watching everything we love.
