For me, adding these were the difference from a solid sound system to really having a home theater experience. Set up is slightly more involved than plug and play, but was easy enough with no issues.

This is my fifth bose purchase. Easy to connect with the soundbar, place them close to back of your ears - where u normally sit.

It is the first time I have had rear speakers with a sound bar and I now recommend to anyone to make the extra purchase, you won't be disappointed.
