As usual, it carries the Bose quality standard. You ARE able to control the sound level via the app. This helped tremendously. Love the system!

Easy Setup...Download the Bose Soundtouch App

However be aware that the default setting after setup has the surround volume low (at least for me) but you can adjust that with the Soundtouch App. I turned it up because I like more sound.

Not quite the same sound, but still quality you expect from Bose. Love the wireless.
