Bose Released a Firmware Update...

There’s a clicking sound in the back right speaker. If I disable the surround speaker the clicking moves to the right speaker in my 700 Soundbar. I can not recommend this or the Soundbar until this is resolved. Other than the terrible clicking noise the speakers would sound great...

We understand the frustration caused by this issue, and would love to steer you in the right direction.
We recently released a software update aimed to resolve audio issues with the Bose Surround speakers. This update was released as of June 4th 2019, but can take up to 48 hours to become available for your soundbar.
We would recommend that yo leave your soundbar idle and connected to the network between the hours of 2:00 AM - 5:00 AM local time to get the update.
Once this has updated, please ensure that the surround speakers are set back up, that the audio input is set to a 5.1 surround sound source, and get this back up and running again!
We apologise for the inconvenience that this caused, and look forward to getting this back to the expected quality of sound from this product!

When we first set them up we heard some connection issues. The sound was cutting in and out. I figured the wires in the back were not secured properly. After tightening them down and going through the AdaptIQ setup, nothing problem continues. I want to like these speakers. I cannot get passed the fact that when we are watching a movie or listening to music the sounds cut out and you can hear it. I am not to pleased with this product.

I am sorry that you've not been able to experience the true benefit of expanding your soundbar system due to these connection issues with your surround speakers.
Do you notice if the connection problems are consistent with the whole system, or just with the surround speakers? Does this happen when all sources of audio are playing?
I'd also recommend looking into the possibility of interference. Do you have the receiver close to other electrical items? It may be worth rearranging them to see if this improves the connection.

Thank you for your post. The amount of sound coming from the rear speakers can vary due to the source material being played. Music and most TV shows typically do not have sounds to play through the rear speakers of a surround sound system. Movies and video games typically do have sounds to play through the rear speakers but it will not be constant. You should expect a varying level of audio from the rear speakers depending on what is being played. Bose 700 Subwoofer and tbh they Bose saying is true the sound bar is alright but for $700 you can get a way better soundbar. Now the Bose saying no highs no lows must be Bose is true. ESPECIALLY with these surround speakers would of been better off buying wireless Klipsch set-up. Please note I have an entire Klipsch 5.2.2 setup 620fS and 4 rm41ms best value for Money.
