Had these for about a month now and love them, they do what they’re supposed to! Easy to setup and pair to the sound bar. You’ll need to play with the soundbar & surround sound speaker channels in the Bode Music app to find your own sweet spot. After reading other reviews some people get them confused with normal speakers. These are for ambient sounds, like birds chirping all around in an outside setting, the murmur of voices around the main characters in a crowded room. Bullets whizzing by in shootout scenes, the roar of car engines in chase scenes and things like that. Hope this will help anyone else that’s interested in them.

I used to think Bose was great but it was crappy. Maybe because it was Bluetooth? Low sound coming out of the rear speakers and even when tested it would sound the same as the front speakers there was no distinction. Took it back for a different wired system. Very disappointing.

I purchased these originally to go with my Smart Sound bar 300 and Bass Module 500. I then upgraded to the Smart Ultra Soundbar and these things still sound great. Granted the 700 surround speakers probably have a bigger sound stage but I was impressed with these and they don’t overpower the sound bar. Even the bass module sounds better with the Ultra Soundbar. The only con is the size of the wireless box and the massive length of the speaker wires. I was goi g to trim the wires but opted not to incase I wanted to repurpose these or sell them. I just used some good wire wraps to neatly tuck them away under the sofa. No connection issues. They fire up immediately.

This is an excellent addition to an already incredible surround sound system. The build quality is very high end as expected and the speakers installed relatively easy, you will need to “assemble” the connectors for the back of the speakers; everything you need is included (there is even a small Bose screwdriver, they think of every detail) and it allows you customize the length of the power cable for a clean install, you do however need to find someplace for the power brick (about the size of a laptop power supply) but other than that it is very straightforward and easy enough to add to the Soundbar 700. The configuration part can be tricky if you try and connect them to the Soundbar 700 via the remote control, I would highly recommend using the app for this task as it is much easier than the key combinations needed for the remote method. As a reminder, if you are adding these after you have installed and configured the Soundbar 700 then you will need to run the ADAPTiQ setup again to gain the full use of the speakers. I can tell you that after using the system without the surround and then adding and properly configuring them, you will not be disappointed with the results. I thought at first glance that there was no way the tiny speakers would make a noticeable difference but I was wrong, they add a depth and dimension to the already incredible sound and gives it a 3D sound field; I was very impressed with the results just from adding these little jewels. A final thought… If you are already spending the money on the base system, then for a little extra the surround speakers will complete the package; I would say it is akin to buying car and adding the chrome wheels (it is the little extra that makes a world of difference).

For the price, this is easily the best surround setup I've ever had. Setup is simple, and when complete, you have a configuration customized to your specific room and seating. The speakers are tiny, and can be easily tucked away out of sight, but they manage to have a really rich, full sound in spite of the small form factor. The bluetooth setup is quick and easy, and though I've seen people say that it has a tendency to drop the pairing; it's not an issue I've had yet, in spite of having a million other bluetooth devices all over my house. Overall, I'd say if this is your price point, these are definitely the speakers to get. They're easy to use, durable, have a nice form factor, and give really great sound quality!

I have had a Bose Accoustimass 10 surround system for a few years and have really enjoyed it, but we moved to a new house that has a very open concept and my SO won't allow me to run wires all over the place. After some research, I thought I'd test out the Bose surround speakers & the Bose 700 soundbar. I downloaded the Bose Music app, plugged in a couple cables, and it was ready to go into 15 minutes. The mobile app was super easy to setup and use too. It allows to you customize your sound EQ and music apps. I haven't figured out how to get Alexa to work yet, but that's not a big deal to me. The highs & mids are crystal clear! This system is truly amazing & looks great.

I have reviewed these surround sound speaker for about 1.5 weeks now. I have them paired with the Bose soundbar 700. They are a great pair of rear speakers. Setup on these is pretty simple. Its mainly just plug and sync using the Bose app. Your not going to get a lot of sound by themselves since they are made specifically for background noise and to complete the surround sound effect. I would definitely recommend pairing them with the Bose sound bar and subwoofer to get the complete surround sound effect. With that set up the movie experience would be amazing. I would definitely recommend these if your in the market for rear speakers. Bose did well on these.

The speakers themselves are fantastic. Audio over wireless works really well. The reason I took away one star is because like many other Bose products, these speakers require a proprietary plate to mount or basically do anything with these speakers. If you're not looking to spend an additional $120 on speaker stands, be ready to place these on an end table or build a shelf for them. Over all quality is super though.

You get good sound from the tiny little speakers. Surprisingly good sound. Paired with my Bose soundbar.

For the first time in my audio listening years I can hear and at the same time feel my audio. This is absolutely the best quality reproduction of TV audio in a 5.1 configuration I've ever heard. I replaced an older Samsung that was causing intermittent problems with the New Bose Soundbar 700, the Bass Module 700 and the Surround Speakers. There is no comparison to other systems I've owned in the past with this Bose system! These Surround Speakers are powerful little mites that do actually compliment the Soundbar 700! Small in size but mighty in sound output. Amazing how Bose can completely surround you with quality sound from "places" you've never heard it from before! Now I am not as techno savvy as some, and also i have a Total Tech Package with Best Buy, so I utilized the Geek Squad subcontractor TX1Communications for the installation, and I'm very glad I did! these guys had the system up and running in no time! One issue came up during the installation. When it came time to pair the remote to the TV and Uverse receiver, the remote would not recognize them. The technicians immediately put in a call to Bose only to learn of a 6 hours wait for assistance. I in turn while they were working to get assistance went to the Bose website, to the Sound bar 700 support/technical support/Remote/Remote set up is not working to find this: "Your Bose Soundbar system will have the ability to control all of your devices from one remote, the Bose Soundbar Universal Remote. This functionality is not active yet, but will be activated during a future Soundbar firmware and Bose Music app update. We anticipate this update being available early to mid-October. Product firmware updates happen automatically in the background, and they typically install overnight. Please note, the remote will still control the soundbar itself, so you can adjust volume, switch sources, and stream music via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi." So what the techs were trying to do is not optional at the moment and won't be until Bose pushes out the update to the remote in order that it might accommodate other IR components. So I will patiently wait. Also not the Bose remote communicate with the sound bar through Bluetooth, not IR line of sight. If you have component that utilizes IR to communicate the sound bar converts the Bluetooth signal from the remote to IR and broadcasts it to the TV, DVR, etc. All in all I couldn't be more pleased with the sound reproduction from this system, it is literally worth every penny spent! I would recommend this system to a friend. And my service throughout the Geek Squad I recommend just as highly..!!! Thanks Bose, Best Buy, Geek Squad and my installing technicians!!! Will report later on future performance.

It is nice to have these connected through blue tooth! Don't have to worry about wires running all over the place. They work great and really fill the room well once it is all set up through the app. The CRANK loud when you need them! Really happy with them for sure. Adds a lot to the bar system.

This Changed everything! I recently bought the SB 500 and module and even though I loved the sound and the set up process. I felt that it was lacking that extra something special, this did the trick! Now the whole 500 sound system produces beautiful sound/music all around me. Please do the adaptQ first then raise the volume appropriately to fit your needs. I literally have a concert hall in my bedroom now ;)

I spent $80 on these, had a few coupons and I found it open box. They are great, but the $299 price is just something very Bose and does not reflect the quality that good (I wouldn't have paid full retail). These should maybe be $179 at most, but overall they look good. I would suggest getting the omni jewel ones instead of these, slightly more expensive but they will look even better.

For these speakers being so small, the sound is great. The only downside is you need brackets or stands made by Bose, you can't use universal brackets or stands. I purchased these speakers in December 2018, a month after i purchased the Bose 700 soundbar and subwoofer. At first I figured I didn't need the rear speakers, but I was wrong. It makes a huge difference having the rear speakers. You hear a lot more!!!

Good speakers, overpriced for the sound quality. these speakers are powerful but very small, there is a lot of cable to them for good reason.

Not sure if im not using them right but the sound is so low its over powered by soundbar. I have to be at least 1ft away to hear them. Feel like great quality just low volume on them for the price

Awesome subwoofer! Just make sure that you don’t plug it directly into wall plug if you leave in an area subject to thunderstorms & power outages because it could damage it. Trust me. Always plug into surge protectors. I learned the hard way now I’m in the process of getting it repaired because I can’t do without it lol.
