No Guarantee
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bose does not stand behind their products beyond the warranty period. I purchased a Wave radio/cd in 2011. The CD stopped working and I attempted to get it repaired. I was informed that Bose no longer serviced that model. I was extremely upset. They should at least have offered to replace it with another model at cost. Don't know about you, but when I pay over $500 for a radio/cd, I expect to keep it for a lifetime.

Buy something else for Internet listening!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this system for its claimed use of vTuner, which has access to the station I wanted to listen to. Sadly, the first software upgrade which I needed to install to configure the SoundTouch, replaced vTuner with Tune-in, which does not. Bose is deaf to user complaints, as can be seen from the Bose Community web site. In January 2019 Bose provided a method of configuring your own URLs, but you are on your own to find the URL to use, and even then you get poor sound, if anything at all.

ALARM 1
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i purchased this unit last Feb. After 5 weeks, while playing soundtouch and reached the alarm time, the music stop, the Alarm 1 has no buzzer sound, it just blinking, Alarm 2 is sometimes the same problem with Alarm 1. The sound is great but it is very important to me the alarm system too. I think this unit is defective. I can't return it to best buy because it expired aready. This is my 12th Bose product & i'm very dissapointed, its just like buying an expensive car and some of the features failed to operate.

DoNotbuy or you will Spend hours on Tech Support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In four years of owning this I have spent more than 60 hours on tech support calls trying to get this to work. Every time there is a software update, which is often, it crashes, then you have to reconnect to the internet, which often does not work, then you have to call tech support, which often takes hours. IT IS NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE!!!!! or the money. Buy a good bluetooth speaker instead and use your phone. I Hate this thing but it's so expensive you feel stuck with using it. AVOID

Disappointed CDs do not play everywhere
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have Bose Soundtouch 20 and 10 systems already. I bought the Wave so I could easily listen to CDs. I would love it except that the "play anywhere" function does not work when you are playing a CD. If this is made clear in the marketing information, I missed it. If it isn't, then Bose needs to state up front that if you want to play music that you have on CDs on all your Bose systems, you have to rip them and put them on a PC and then stream them. Not everyone wants to do that.

CDs do not play on WiFi speackers!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does not play the CDs on Wi-Fi speakers!!! There are no controls on the device itself, even for the basic functions and the apps does not work more than half of the time!?!? I do not get any information or display that what is wrong or what is needed to correct the problem!?!? BOSE is going to a wrong direction.

Will not connect to Apple Music running OSCatalina
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would not have purchased if I had known this Bose needs to get over themselves and make this work as ITunes is no more For the expense of this unit it should definitely work with Apple Music User set up to Bluetooth Devices is also not very user friendly. This really needs a fix.
