    This lens hood is very nice for longer lenses. For my regular 18-35 lens, I can still see the edges of the hood until I zoom in about half way.

    I bought this for my Nikon 50mm lens, and it's a bit tricky to get the hood to go on in the right position, but for the price and the fact that it's a universal hood, that's okay with me.
