The jaws are slippery, short and not strong enough to hold an iPhone XS. Not recommended unless you’re planning to buy a crazy glue and stick it to the vent.

I would highly recommend placing the vent clips into the bottom-most vent bar, that way the mount is best supported at its base and will not fall out. I got this for 2 reasons it not only hold my phone, but also the little screen that comes with the baby car cam that I can watch my son while he's in the car seat.

The magnet came off when I removed my phone from the vent mount. I made sure my phone case was clean and dry before I put the magnet on but it still came off.

I did thoroughly clean and dry the surface before hand, but that clearly didn’t help. Worst phone accessory purchase ever.

You need to understand that the magnet that sticks to your phone has to stick to the phone or a thin case or it won't work very well (i.e. a larger fold case, etc.
