Yes, shaky - but works. For the money I couldn't find something small and universal - to hold my smartphone. You have to use it gently, because all movable parts will stop moving eventually. Consider price before comparing.

A little difficult to get attached to the vent, but once attached is sturdy and easy to use. Plenty of extra adjustment for a larger GPS if I ever need it. Good price value as compared to other brackets.

I followed the instructions and mounted this to my heater vent on my car's dash and after one week of placing my iPhone 6 in it whenever I drove, the hook in one side broke off and the holder listed to one side and my iPhone fell out. There's no way to fix it. My advice is to bypass this product and buy one that's more sturdy.

I'm on my second... First one clip broke within a year. But overall it does its job and is a cost effective solution.

Needed a mount for my rental car. This vent mounted one did the trick. My only complaint is it got stuck in the rental car's air vent and I couldn't get it out. Other than that, it worked just fine.

I was looking for a versatile product for both phone and GPS when I saw this one. Easy instructions for assembly and attaching to the vents. Love the ability to change between landscape and portrait.

i would save my money. not a huge fan but can see why others love this. just not for me, like chocolate cake.

Once I figured out the right way to hook this onto my vent in the car, I don't know how I drove without it. I feel so much safer when I'm talking and driving now. A great buy for people who are in the car a lot and have to use their phone.

I needed a bracket to hold my cell phone but didn't want to spend a lot of money and I didn't want it stick on the windshield. So I got an air vent dock. It was flimsy at best and it wasn't strong enough to hold up my phone, it drooped. Best buy had a very poor selection of holders. There was cheap and expensive, nothing in between. I should have gone elsewhere.

Works very well and attaches to vents in every car I've tried. The only concern I had is that the stabilizer bar was attached to my unit backwards. Luckily, there's still not much vibration.
