It's pretty good, but am concerned that it's going to mess up the vent louvers. At times seems to be semi stable.

the phone cradle is a nice idea. it holds the phone perfect. problem is it does not fit into my a.c. vent. that is the purpose of the cradle. I have to figure out where else i might mount the cradel?

It's, as the review title says, decent. Nothing special, and I'd have given it 5 stars if it was a touch sturdier.

I felt a little frustrated with this holder.. First it was really hard to install. Then doesn't really feels that it's really secured and you think it will break everytime you put you device on it..

I have a 93 Cherokee and this simply wouldn't work. The clips are made for AC vents that are not as deep as they are on older cars. It should work well in a car with smaller vent tabs.

We looked at numerous holders and there were a lot that fit my husband's Galaxy but would not hold my Note with its Otter case! Best fit for the value.

This cell phone/ mobile device mount is really a great one & very affordable too! Love the way it moves any way u want it to! It makes driving safer!

Too loose to hold my phone at any angle. Doesn't fit my narrow AC vent blades and pulls out when you try to adjust it. Best Buy won't take it back; I waited more than 15 days. $20 down the drain. :(

the pieces that attach to the vent to hold the device holder do not work well in my car. My vent louvers are narrow and the weight of the phone is too much for the case to remain in the right position

Has worked out well in my car because the way the vents are. Not so well in my wife's car as here vents are different.

State law requires hands free phone use while diving so I wanted to try something as an inexpensive fix. I was surprised it actually mounts to the dash air vents fairly easily and holds the phone. A couple times during course of driving - particularly long stretches of bumpy roads which are common now that winter has created a pothole Spring - the grip fails and phone drops. Since I didn't really expect it to work at all I'll take this low fail rate. $20, not bad.

It was a bit cumbersome to figure out how to adjust, but worked fine when I figured it out. Left vertical holder portion already bent back from a few months of use. Could be made to be a bit more sturdy, but it still serves its purpose.

I did not notice that this is geared to cars with horizontal air vents, and because I was leaving on a long trip I needed to use it right away. I did get it to work somewhat, by hooking it through the vertical vents to the horizontal bar in back, but then it hangs in front of and interferes with the wiper lever on the steering column. And I couldn't disconnect it to try it somewhere else! It's a great flexible style for different size devices, however.

Initially I had trouble setting it up- now all is great. Love the ability to lay flat to read.

This is made of plastic and is meant to be adjustable to just about any phone size/orientation. It is mounted in the air vent and that took a few minutes to figure out. The plastic piece that is meant as a support piece could be more substantial and borders on flimsy. The foam padding that lines the cradle has come loose a few times but just sticks back down. I am not sorry I purchased this item as it does what it was intended for. I just wish it were a little more substantial/solid. A plus is that you don't have to stick anything to your dash or windshield and it could go with you if you purchase a new car. It looks pretty universal.

Good item as far as holding phone and gps securely. The vent mount is not easy to connect on the vent or to remove. The mount has to be taken apart and put back together to fit. It would be better if this were a one piece item. The holder for the phone/gps is adjustable which is good, Garmin has a vent mount which is good but is only for certain gps. It has a knob to turn to make the mount secure in the vent. Sadly, I returned this item due to difficulty installing and uninstalling. I am a female and had to call a male friend to see how to operate.

While my phone is in it no matter how tight I make it it still tilts forward while driving. I also don't like that it removes an air vent from my car. Now I don't even feel the air through this vent.

Works well except my iPhone 6s+ is too big for it (I realized that when I purchased the holder) so I can have it only in the portrait position -- not in the wider landscape position. It did fall out of the holder once when I bumped it, but otherwise has worked quite well. The holder attaches securely to the air vent and allows for varied positioning of the phone. It would work perfectly, I would think, with a smaller phone.
