Poor mechanism to adjust arms

It was easy enough to place on the vent. The problem comes when trying to open the arms to fit the phone in. The button mechanism to extend the arms to fit the phone is nearly useless...you can press it tens of times, but it hardly ever moves the arms. Not sure if this unit is defective but it's really a terrible design. Would not recommend this.
