I decided to try one more before giving up hope in finding one that would satisfy me. I purchased this one back in November 2016. I am very happy with this product.

Affixes well to windshield and can be placed so it does not obstruct driver's view of the road. Gooseneck is great for positioning, however it causes the cell phone to vibrate while driving limiting one's ability to see the screen clearly especially on smaller screen phones like the iphone.

As we got more in to colder weather, the suction cup became rather hard and wouldn't hold to the windshield any longer. In addition the pad is rather large, making it impossible to grab smaller areas on the dash. Kinda feel like I wasted my money.

Very flimsy

While riding without the phone in it, the head fell off while mounted to the windshield. Tried to repair, but will not snap back together. Lousy product. DO NOT BUY!! It should have lasted more than 2 1/2 weeks.

I use it for travel exclusively in rental cars. The only little tweak is the release switch to open is in a bad location for me to operate with my IPhone. Other than that little critique it is a unit I would recommend.
