I drive a newer truck and it is way to flimsy to hold what ever you put in it. Shakes bad over any bumps.

The product would not hold my Garmin. Tried it on the dash and the window. Both applications dropped off the surface. It was worthless to me.

To be fair, I have a Samsung Note 3 which is a big phone. But, the suction cup fell off after 5-10 min of driving all 3 times we tried it..

i bought this and within like maybe 2 months, it broke. the phone grip stopped gripping. the mechanism failed to close.

This unit has a very bad mechanism for hold and releasing the phone. only one half works properly.

It broke within two hours of purchase very cheaply made

The mount would not stick to my windshield at all. Returned for refund.

Not a very good Florida product. Falls off of windshield frequently.

Where you phone is held, isn't very good it's weak.

Not great if you don't have a case for your phone.

I only used a Galaxy S5 with Spigen Tough Armor case with this product to give you an idea of supported weight. Pros: Sturdy and doesn't wobble much while driving. Rotation is very good to get your device facing vertically or horizontally and does it easily. Suction to windshield is very good and withstands in-car temperatures of 120 degrees (it will sag from more pliable plastic, but does not fail, and easy to adjust back into position). Holds phone in the desired position really well. Clamps are easy to tighten and release. Not tested, but the clamps are wide enough to be able to hold a Galaxy Note phone. Cons: Gears for clamps are all plastic. This product only lasted me 6 months of moderate use (maybe 2 hours a day, 5 days a week, usual driving). The problem was that the clamps no longer held the phone in place. They would freely open up with minimal pressure. I opened it up and one of the smaller gears was stripped half way of its teeth, which caused one of the gears to rotate freely.

This is a good mount with great suction, it has not fallen from my windshield. The only issue that I have is the body of the mount can easily be removed from the extension arm. I am not sure if this is a design flaw or it is broken. I purchased it on sale at an extreme discount so I am ok with any flaws but would not buy this bracket at retail price.

When you search a universal windshield mount you better expect a universal windshield mount. I tried another universal windshield mount brands personally which was Dynex, but it did not really do what it was advertised to do. This was exactly the item I was looking for. The installation is really easy. It does really do a 360 degree rotation to have you device held in multiple positions. In one of the pictures there is a little plastic part that comes up and that opens up clamp and you can easily push it close together to securely lock it in place. I drove continuously for 3 hours, and along some bumpy roads, it actually held the device in place. The pictures are a bit deceiving because you think the arm is very rigid, but it is actually very flexible. I also put my car out a lot and even among the heat and direct sun the suction cup still holds on. The only complaint I have is that sometime it squeaks possibly due to the flexible arm and suction cup, but other than that, it is a great product.

This is a flexible vehicle mount that can cater to phablets (5.6 inches) to other smart phones that are smaller in size. My Samsung Note 4 fits comfortably and the mount holds it tight during vehicle movement. The mount has a flexible holder that can tilt 360 degrees. Bottomline, this is a great mount and of good quality.

Overall this product does what it advertises. I have a small car so the arm is much longer than I need but could be adjusted. The grip holds the receiver well and the suction cup holds to the winshield firmly.

When NH passed a hands free law I needed something to hold my cell phone. I looked at vent clip in models and really didn't want to obstruct a vent as I have a large cell. This allows me to keep the phone low and doesn't obstruct the window.

I have 3 problems with this product. It is useable - with some workarounds - but I would suggest looking elsewhere before settling for this. 1st: Because of the 1 ft. of distance between the device and the suction cup for the window, the device will vibrate when the car is moving. Since I didn't want it to vibrate, I adjusted the holder to rest on the dash, but now I am concerned about potential wear marks on the dash. None are showing up, but I have only owned it for a week. 2nd: The phone for which I bought the holder (HTC Thunderbolt) has its charger socket right where the the holder grips it. I can still use the charger while it is in the holder, but I cannot use the foldout supports that are part of the holder's design. 3rd: The suction cup for the device seems a little weak. I have had the holder fall off the window 2 times while driving. But the last time I attached it to the window was 5 days ago, so it seems have a lasting seal this time. Bottom line: Look around, and if nothing else works, this will do the job... just not perfectly.

I purchased this so that I could have my cell phone within easy view and access. It works great to hold the cell phone where I can easily see it and the flexibility allows me to use it in close proximity to my GPS. The only thing about it that I don't like is that it shakes the phone while driving. This was easily solved by placing it close to the windshield frame/post.

This is a very well made unit, and I like the flexibility of the mount and yet it stays in position when set to your correct angle for viewing the phone. The suction holding it to the windshield is excellent. This is one mount that won't fall off the windshield.
