It mounts to air vents, uses magnet technology and worked great. I found that the clips that secure to the air vent do not maintain there grip. After 2 to 3 weeks the whole holder would come off when I made a turn or the car changed direction. The weight of the phone (I-phone 6 Plus) would overcome the grip strength. I became disheartened by this. I bought a second one and the same thing happened again. The grippers would last for a few weeks, stretch out and lose there ability to hold to the vent.
