A: Yes, it comes with 3 thin metal plates and two 3M mounting tapes. Just take the backing off the tape and stick to plate and phone. Seems very secure even after I’ve had mine on a week.

A: Yes the case will work with the phone stand as long as the case is not super thick.
Q: Can this hold the Iphone X and can it charge while mounted?
A: Yes to both. You must place the plate at the very bottom of the phone to avoid covering the charge circuit

A: Mine works with a plastic case.
