• I have a thin case too. The thin magnetic piece they provide with the bracket is about as thin or thinner than a credit card and slips easily between the case and phone. Yes it should work perfectly.

• Magnet is real thin but strong so you shouldn’t have a problem. I had to hold the mount to keep it from pulling from vents when taking phone off of mount.
