It works as it is designed. I have had others that were much easier to load and unload a phone from and wish it had a mechanism to open it up without feeling like I was wrestling it.

this thing falls off my dashboard even with the “lock”. do not buy thi specially if you have larger (heavier) phone. i don’t know how it worked with other people

I was a little disappointed in the hold of this product. It occasionally falls off my dash when driving. If it would stay in place better it would be a handy tool.

Works fine. However, I have a Pixel and it seems a bit "top heavy " due to the size or length of the phone. It might be better for a shorter phone.

Car dash cell phone mount does the job, however I'd like it if it was a little taller to accommodate taller phones. Easy to reattach, it just need water and new suction

Holds great on a sleek surface, too bad the clip holder for the phone are too small/average, cant hold my phone whit its semi thick case

The suction cup is too big and doesn't fit anywhere in my car. I have a Ford fusion. It says it will stick to any surface, but it doesn't. I returned it the next day.

Too small for my iPhone 7s plus. Seemed to be too bulky and flimsy of an item as well. I returned this for a smaller more compact and sturdy version.

This product lasted through the winter but then summer came upon us and the sticky part to hold it melted in my car. You know summers in Texas.

in less than a year, the spring tension on one arm broke. It is still serviceable, but difficult to seat the iPhone. I am not overly impressed with this product.

I do not recommend this product, if you want to relocate from the initial installation place to another you can´t because the pad has not sticky anymore.

The side grips are tension grips. The tension is so strong that they are difficult to spread open while trying to wiggle the phone between them. Once you manage to get the phone situated, the grips do hold securely, however when you want to remove the phone from the holder, you've got a two handed struggle ahead. I returned this item and purchased another brand that has sliding grips with a one button release for removing the phone. Much better option.

A bit clumsy but does the job of putting cell phone in line of sight and within reach for driver. Helpful for applications like Maps and Waze.

It appears to be great over the initial time but then the adhesive seems to deminish. I would think for the cost it would be much more effective.

This product will not grip/hold on the dash of a Honda or Mini Cooper. Grips the windshield just fine.

Sticks onto my dashboards rough surface very well, but on hot days with direct sun the gel seems to soften and quickly loses its grip.

It's ok. Suction cup is good, no rotation, can be a pest to get the phone in and out of (iPhone5- leather case)

It keeps coming undone. Not a great item. Sticks to the window good but not the dashboard

Even though it has firm grasp, I have to take my phone out of the case in order to prevent it from falling.

It works well most of the times but sometimes it just falls of the dash possibly due to heat or direct sunlight.
