Q: will it fit a LG smartphone
A: I have an iphone 6S plus and it does fit in the cradle with no problems. I hope this gives you an idea of the size it will fit.
Q: will suction cup hold on textured dash?
A: I have tried this on multiple dashes and it sticks well to them all. One thing I would suggest, attach it when the dash is warm, it will follow better into the texture of the dash.
