Its very convenient and the grip on the dashboard is excellent. The shortcomings come to light when you try to release the latch. It is cumbersome and clumsy.

The only issue I am having is the phone slipping down when you hit bumps. Need to have some that does a better job gripping the phone so it doesn't move.

Was upset because i got it on clearance and the had no new ones to replace it with. So i missed out on a good deal because they decided to snd me an open box used one for some reason thinking that was ok to do

Daughter visited from out of state & was instantly able to remove & replace at a totally different height so that it worked equally well for her.

I was confused at how to use it at first, then I realized there was a instruction booklet. I love how strong it is and it fits different types of phones even with cases.

However, it isn’t one hand operation when mounting the phone onto it. You have to press and adjust the lever with one hand while another hand to hold the phone in the center before the lever is tighten down. Very cumbersome. Worse of all, as I was driving home, the phone slowly dropping downward, the lever was not able to hold the phone tightly. And it was a short trip, I am afraid that my phone would drop off from the mount if I drive any longer. I am returning it back to Best Buy.

I would recommend adjusting the lever on the mount to a precise position so that your phone can easily be clicked in place and pulled out without adjusting the lever again. The mount is designed so that you only have to adjust the lever once to fit your phone, and then it can be clicked in and out of place with one hand.
